I'm truly rooting for your idea, I'm just concerned with the timeline. In 1991 Hollywood could make deep films, since with the fall of communism, almost anything could be sold as funny, believe me and yes it was also the era of deep emotional pictures not only in comedies but in dramas too.

Almost 20 years later, all but a few countries are impregnated with the usual level of Americam comedy, and I must give Apatow, McKay and Ferrell no matter if someone is highly educated or simple minded, plain humor like theirs resonates with people in crisis.

Even Steve Martin did Pink Panther 2, so all in all I think this goal will be reached when the last superpower is freed from its debt and its obligation to fight 2 wars at the same time

Well, first and foremost I must express my surprise and gratitude. Ever since I started to watch your videos, I had started to visit the blogs of the Collegehumor and would have never even dreamed anyone would reply.

To my second point Ithink I must apologize fpr something. Actually I wanted to be funny with the line your people will call my people and wasn't nearly serious. Still, from my point of view the staff of Collegehumor is not less cooler than SNL

If I may, and that doesn't bore anyone here, in a great part the videos of CH and in part your humor pulled me through times I wouldn't have thought I would survive.

And all I know, once I can get past my fear of flight and can and will raise the money to visit New York, I will go to the UCG theater to see you guys live.

P.S.: Now that I think back, I still fear crowds but hey I always loved theater.

You just gave me a brilliant idea for a story. A famous person fakes his/or her own death but soon realizes that some years ago (s)he had left a memorabilia with a college art group, so even if (s)he had burnt every record on him/herself there still is that group, and (s)he invites them over at the weekend (because his/her deatzh was in a remote area, it is not supposed to be found out til Monday) and guise their death as an incident. The only one left who also had a copy, but was not present studied abroad at the time, but could recognize the handwriting on the memorabilia, so (s)he sends a copy with no return address on it just find out if that person still lives there.

Have you gotten anything?:p

Dear Streeter,

You got me thinking how and what to relate on your talking points. First I would lie if I say I can empathize and understand how it is to stand in a row disappointed because I'm afraid of crowds. The funny thing is, Jake and Amir did interwived Incredibad, am I too naive to think, your "people" could ask "their people" to give you honorary tickets? And call me stupid;) Anyway you got in, and could enjoy the show;)

As for the part before it: I guess it is not that you are 6 foot 2 and 230 lbs it's that you care, that he saw in your eyes, I have sad experience with such creeps and I'm not a superhero who can stp time and say save the cheerleader while carrying a sword on the New York underground.

As for the last part: a devout man of science, I feel the human side of their story, yet I feel it was not a religious entity that gave him abilities but his own will for survival and he had similar starting abilities like Beethoven

I will be cursed as a buzzkill, but if I recall from Snopes, once people believed Sony is American, they had to stamp on the boxes that it was reimported from Japan. And please, if you read this, tell Jeff to watch Welcome to NHK, I know it's about depressing social issues, but nonetheless it reveals that such pyjamas are wiorn by otakus, and it is not a charming word;)

For starters, the most famous counrterfeiter was hungarian. Secondly, the littlest paper currency has no watermark and is valid till 2010. And third reason, if a country decides to stop production of money that costs more than its worth and lets produce it South Korea for being cheaper and unique, like holographic coin, deserves to be pulled off.

That was a sarcastic response addressed as those who don't want to realize, what DrHumor pointed out about them being a comedy duo, and with comedy duos, there are characters. In these sketches, Jake and Amir are characters, not their real selves, although it might happen, that the personn cracks up, like Stephen Colbert's famous scene with Jon Stewart where he couldn't contain laughter.

It is obviuos, that Jake he character moved to Cali, while Mr. Hurwitz styed of course.

As for George Shapiro: many people speculate, Andy Kaufman was plain insane, because he literally never broke character and switched on and off with his partner on one of his characters or pulled stunts that puzzled many people. And only when he really got terminally ill, his closest friends suspected that is just a long con, if you heard of it, some people awaited his return 25 years after his death, as he predicted.

I came here to be mildly serious, so I benevolently hope, most people really did not generated over 1000 blog comments to really analyze where Mr.Hurwitz would be.

P.S.: On my note on Pat, I meant Lexi in the video, the tie-in implied he had a crush on her:d

Jake is California will slowly really turn into a Kaufman stunt where George Shapiro did not believed he really was terminally ill.

Though it would be coulds to see Sam on the side of Mike as his wife so the two would meet together but that would kill the fun.

Btw, in the new video, Pat cinfessed to the girl whom she killed, so does that count at least as a premeditated intention out of refusal?:d

Actually Jacob is Jake and Amir was born just outside of Portland:d

Lame jokes aside they will clarify this some time between tonight's show and the 26th, where they have to appear as a duo. I still stick to the honorif gesture to Conan so I guess when his replacement will have his show, Jake will return.

And if not we still have the clone Amir who forced Zach to shoot Amir once and he can host Eva Amir

In other news there was someone who wrote it could have happened ano one knows about. Sure, not like you don't have integrated blog utilities in browsers or in mobile phones, especially in New York where you can post on Google where your mobile phone (and supposedly) you are.

In the next episode, we will see Jake firing his gun at Sawyer. After the confusion is it explained that his flight was vanishing over the US and ended up on the Island.

Now being serious, after 800 comments I think, Andy Kaufman isn't dead, and when doesn't say fnord he directs screwup videos for Collegehumor.

In the last few days, Conan O'Brien has mentally prepared homself for his new show in California. He wanted to take that seat for a long time, and he also earned it. Just like he earned to become a legendary icon in New York comedy.

The best way to pay the man an homage and acknowledge how deeply he will be missed is having Jake Hurwitz play a similar role while being sneaky at his workplace. In show business that would not be unusual, since appearences are everything.

Besides that everything else is a sketch, and salutes to those who did have noticed the usage of sentences from previous clips.

On behalf of the guy who played or is Mike, he was brave to accept a possible rant war on him.

So á lá Kaufman, Jake and Amir did screw with us and hope they laugh their ass off over this.
