I can honestly say I am bummed out!
I only ranked a 74%.
I know they are testing out giving kids with ADHD marijuana & I am thinking that if they decide to give that to people with Blogging Addiction, I should get my score up.

Hmmm, would a stoner blog more? Would they be more creative? Or would all the cookie crumbs clog their keyboard & they would just give up?

I guess the government will have to do a multi billion dollar study on blog addiction.

ps: I do not do drugs but, just wondering if it would improve my blogging.

Your post is on the money.

I will disagree to a point with some comments.

I think it has very little to do with Who you know, or who you (do things likes Monica Lewinsky did that we know really did happen even if Bill said they didn't) Sorry, I got side tracked. You know what I mean. ;)

It is so important that OTHERS know who YOU are.
I had a job that I was very good at. I did not look for employers, they came to find me. Some of them I had never heard of but, all that mattered was that they knew me & how I worked.

It is much easier when others come to you because they have heard or seen your work.
An open door is easier to walk through than trying to get the door open in the 1st place.

I think far more teens tweet than people thought. Maybe they are not putting in their real age?
Look at some of the celebs that are on Twitter, they draw a younger crowd.
My daughter & her friends have been on Twitter over a year. They were there before all the hype. They just wanted somewhere free to message each other that did not have all the creepy stalkers like Myspace. At least on Twitter they can block them.

Wait until I tell my 15 year old daughter that she & her friends need to get off the Tweeting. I knew they were not needed there clogging up the stream. LOL!

I guess having a child that age, I know several kids that tweet. Also most of the kids I know do not seem to be trying to hide from parental eyes. If they want to hide stuff they use an IM or secret email. Oops, bet I wasn't suppose to know that.

I get these same type of general comments & had to watch my incoming search terms to realize I was being targeted just for links.

To people that say you should leave the comments & that they do no harm - I as a reader get tired of scrolling past loads of worthless spam. I do enjoy reading comments others leave because you can get added information or a difference of opinion.

There are blogs that I no longer take the time to post comments on simply because no one will ever see it buried in the junk (worthless link spam).

This is your home & it is your job to keep it clean & safe for your invited guest.

I saw that your vanity URL was a fake about 30 minutes after the hour & knew that 'lady' was just a scrapper. What I don't get is that if these people read the FaceBook rules to choosing a name, the username is not transferable so they would not be able to sell them to the rightful owner. If that was their intent.

You can also Google "Jessica Yuwell" and find her original Facebook page that now has the name Ed Dale. www.facebook.com/people/Jes... , I guess she doesn't have the power to get rid of the Google indexed page. LOL!

Earlier I saw where Darren did get his real name for his profile but, ChefPatrick took the ProBlogger name and Darren could not get it for his business (or fan) page.

I'm sure this will all get straightened out.

Thanks! I had not even heard of Addictomatic, I will be giving it a try.

Reading other blogs! Yes, many times I have enough of a comment that I can make a whole blog post. That means I get a post and I give the original author a link so, people can see what I am answering. Most bloggers see this as a win-win.

I sometimes go to forums and look in the Q&A section. If I see something that I feel I can answer then I make a post, then go back to the forum and leave a link to my new article (if it only non commercial info).

I also do not think that most people can actually have a clue as to what others are saying if they are following a huge number. I find that if someone follows me, I check out their page, if I will just be a number then I see no point in following back.

If someone states that they will unfollow anyone that does not follow them - YEAH - unfollow me - see if I notice. LOL!

I had a real problem that I tend to write my How To type post to complete and people say that there was not really anything to add. I have been working on that! My post also tend to be long, then again so are some of my comments.LOL
I will say that the more I get out and comment the more comments I get back.
I will be working on these things.
I am now off to see what your other commenters' are doing on their blogs. I will follow a link from a comment faster than I will if it is just sent out via a stream.

Hello Diana,
I think one of the best parts of Social Networking is the chance to meet people from all over the world. We can then have a better understanding of their life, culture, beliefs...Which is very vital to building a bridge of acceptance among different ideas.

Kids now have the chance to learn more than just what their neighbors know. Because of the internet and the ability to talk to people in other areas, my kids have a chance to break down the walls of stereotypes and racism. They have to decide if they like a person based on words they use to express themselves not what kind of jeans they wear...

I can go talk to my neighbors but, how mind numbing is it to hear over & over again about what car has been speeding, who did not mow their yard...

Social sites are not only an easy way to keep up with friends that you may have moved away from but, also find new ones.

Oh my, you mean not everyone wants to hear what I have to say? Shame!

I use TweetDeck & have people I follow put into groups according to what they normally Tweet about. Then if I am need of a certain topic - I scan or scroll threw that group. I know it may sound like cheating but, it works for me. My group of Favorite Twits has grown as I get to know some people better.

I also pick & choose whom I follow by looking at what info they pass along.
