My friend tried one of those tests and thought she was having a girl for few weeks, but the ultrasound proved that to be false. It's a boy! Don't know if other people have had that experience...she's really the only person I know that has tried it. Maybe she just fell into a small percentage of error.

I think if you really wanted to drive readers to your blog with a pregnancy you should have done something more dramatic...octomom style, ya know? I'm glad you can find the "humor" in it all. :) I love reading your posts...and no one drove me here, I just surfed over all on my own.

Just before I got married I read something that talked about how we have no better opportunity to serve in a Christ-like way than to our own spouses. Everyday we have the opportunity to demonstrate Christ-like love in that relationship and in no other relationship will that be tested more. Sometimes I think it is so much easier to keep that mindset with others, those whom we choose to serve or not serve...we can overlook things in others, we can more easily forgive, we expect to be disappointed...but when it comes to our own spouses we are the ones who can be so easily hurt, disappointed, disillusioned, etc. It also makes sense that the marriage relationship is the one that is always under attack, the one that Satan would love to so subtly (or not so subtly) destroy...after all it is the relationship used in scripture to represent the relationship of Christ to the church.
Man, have I failed on that front almost daily...but I strive to keep my desire to be Christ-like at the forefront of my mind instead of how my husband has disappointed me today, or hurt me, or just not done things the way I thought they should be done...the times I have remembered to show him love, respect, forgiveness and patience it has always worked out so much better...for the both of us...and whadda ya know I often get the same response in return.
Thank you for sharing not only your struggles, but also where you are now, with such honesty and Biblical insight.

Beautiful!!! We could so use a fridge. People think it is weird that we have no door handle on our fridge...we hardly notice, we have gotten so used to it! If we had the cash we would totally get a fridge to match our Samsung range (that was a total splurge, but we LOVE it!).

Hmmm...I have a cat...one that I inherited through marriage. I am not a fan....cat hair everywhere...being stepped on in the middle of the night...smelly cat box (which I REFUSE to change)...I can't have fresh flowers in the house because the cat eats the petals and then barfs them up. I'm seriously considering collecting all the cat hair that I clean everyday and sending it here: http://www.vipfibers.com/ so we can have sweater made for my husband who doesn't seem to mind all the cat hair....we'll see :) Stay strong!

Well, I only have 3 - soon to be 4 - in my family...but my brother has a family of six. I would love to win this for them...does that count? They have a 6, 5, 3 and 1 yr. old..my SIL had 4 kids in 5 years. Is it Gerogia....why am I guessing that...I don't even know. I have this vague recollection that someone related to you is from there....or I am totally making it all up. Either way that is my guess!
