For me, their most memorable song is "Fire Escape." They seemed to be trying to ape the Beatles' melodies on that album, and I feel like this was one of their songs that nailed it. It also has a fairly entertaining, if not a bit presumptuous, music video.

My God, Rivers really is turning into a Woody Allen lookalike. The fact that he's nearly 50 is horrifying to me, especially given that his lyrics haven't really evolved (devolved, really) in the 21 years since Pinkerton. And also because it makes me feel damned old.

Eh, it's a bummer, but I'm satisfied. My favorite era (Mike's Comedy Central episodes) is available on DVD in its entirety, with Girls Town and Transparent Man being on this upcoming set. Shout Factory has gone above and beyond.

God, it feels so good to see some decent criticism of the new season. I'm about as die-hard of a MSTie as a person can get, and I'm not feeling the season so far (I'm only two episodes in, admittedly). Learning about the uneven shooting/recording schedule just breaks my heart and reminds me of Arrested Development's fourth season.

It worries me, because I feel like the critical voices are just going to get shouted down as being needlessly harsh and Joel will learn nothing because he's only listening to the happy fans who are satisfied with the new episodes.

To use an incredibly specific, probably unrelatable analogy, I'm also a huge Weezer fan. Joel was the Blue Album, Mike was Pinkerton, and this new season just feels like the Green Album -- basically similar, but too polished and lacking in charm. Hopefully, the analogy ends there, or else we're in for a whole lot of rough seasons ahead.

(Also, glad to see you picked Deathstalker as one of your favorite episodes below. That's my favorite and easily one of the most underrated.)

I'm only a few hours into Andromeda's single-player (just about wrapping up Eos) and I don't think it's a bad game. Its biggest sin, aside from the animations, is that it's just not as engaging as the original trilogy. I find myself less enthusiastic about finding time to play it. I'm just kind of, "Yeah, I'll get to it when I get to it." I'm interested to see where it goes, but I'm in no rush to get there.

The multiplayer, on the other hand, has had much more of my attention. I actually don't find it quite as fun as ME3's multiplayer, but that's largely to do with the difficulty spike. I'm not the best player of video games, and even the bronze difficulty gets quite challenging around wave six. But still, it's fun unlocking new classes and weapons and making them both more powerful.

If I had to give it a rating based on what I've seen so far, I'd give it a 7/10. I know that's practically a bomb by today's standards, but I don't see it that way. So far, it's been good but flawed.

I'm sure I'll be mostly alone on this one, but I enjoyed Head Carrier and I'm glad the Pixies are still around, even if it is sans Kim. It's not the same as it used to be or as good as it should be, but that's how shit goes sometimes. They're still better than most.

I'm digging a bit further back for this one, but C.K. Dexter Haven from The Philadelphia Story. Such an unnecessarily convoluted name that perfectly communicates where the character comes from in life. The name, of course, sounds best when being spoken by a drunk Jimmy Stewart.

I'm probably the only person in these comments who's disappointed that they didn't actually talk about The Santa Clause, even though the film was listed in one of the headers. I still believe that film is far more charming than it has any right to be.

The future Deathstroke in that episode was Slade's son, if I remember correctly. Something to that effect, at least. Presumably, Slade was already dead at the time. My memory is a bit foggy, as it is with all things pertaining to the largely forgettable Legends of Tomorrow.

I've managed to spend most of the game's development period free from the influence of the hype. In fact, I wasn't even intending to pick the game up. But, after seeing a number of friends playing it, I gave into peer pressure and bought it.

It's a good game. It's fun. It's interesting. Was there too much hype? Yes. Have there been unfulfilled promises on the part of the developers? Yes. Is $60 too much? Probably. ($40 seems more appropriate to me, for what you get. $20, as some have suggested, is just plain laughable and insulting.) Is it flawless? No. But this is a game I'll be playing on and off for years. It's a relaxing, chill space exploration game. Expecting anything more from it is a mistake. Buying into hype of any kind is a mistake.

So, good on ya, No Man's Sky. You did your best and, for me, that's enough.

I'll never understand the seemingly common opinion that the 2001 series is the best TV version of The Tick. The animated series was brilliant and hilarious. The first live action series was decent, but lacked the "pop" of the cartoon. Maybe I'm just biased from growing up with the animated series, but in my opinion, it still holds up and is the far more memorable of the two.

My fond memory of Kim is from the reunion tour, back in 2004. She played "Head On" in the wrong key, so Frank made the band play the song a second time in the right key. Which sounds a lot more fascist than I believe it actually was. Kim was laughing about it, clearly embarrassed.

For me, it's Stargate SG-1. As far as I'm concerned, that show had eight solid seasons. Seasons nine and ten were lazily tacked on. Hell, even the showrunners wanted to rebrand those last two seasons as another series entirely ("Stargate Command," I believe) before the Sci-Fi Channel (or were they SyFy at that point?) insisted it would confuse people.

Season eight wrapped up the Goa'uld arc and, frankly, without that arc, there is no SG-1. The Ori, Vala, and Mitchell (and, most importantly, the lack of Richard Dean Anderson) just don't fit in with the tone of the previous eight seasons, and they muddied the waters of what was a far better TV series than it had any right to be.
