She went from being Mayor of Southfield to U.S. Congress. Please correct.

Re: Ronan Farrow Joins MSNBC, Will Host Weekday Show

I agree.

Re: http://current.com/shows/countdown/videos/wanted-your-one-word-candidate-1

Palin.

Re: FOX Tries to Scare Viewers Away from Obama’s Cap and Trade Plan

This is why we need people like Nancy to go on Fox -- someone needs to have a sane voice there. I know a lot of people don't like that she goes there, but it's important that she does.

Re: Does Geithner Get What's Framing the Debate?

Jeffrey -- just sent you a message on Facebook. Maybe Nancy Skinner and Sam Seder together -- I think they'd have good chemistry and be able to play off of each other. There's already a lot of repetition between what Keith and Rachel cover each night, so a different kind of format might draw more viewers. Rather than just covering the day's events, they could bring guests in and have panel-type discussions on the issues and events of the day during part of the show. They could also do a point-counterpoint segment and put the two of them up against someone (or two someones) from the other side of the aisle.

Re: MSNBC Looking To Add New 10pmET Show - mediabistro.com: TVNewser

I would add Nancy Skinner to this list. She's an outspoken progressive voice who has been appearing as a Democratic strategist on various cable shows for over 10 years. She was one of the earliest progressive voices on the radio back in the 90s, speaking out against the Iraq war before it even began. Nancy is a strong environmentalist, ran in the Senate primary in Illinois against President Obama and nearly unseated a six-term Republican incumbent for Congress in Michigan in 2006. Nancy has been filling in for Randi Rhodes the last few days and has been doing a great job. To see some of Nancy's past and recent TV work, check out her YouTube channel: SkinnerforCongress.

Re: Report: Obama reducing resources in Michigan in wake of McCain exit

Our field director was pulled from Royal Oak/Huntington Woods and moved to Nevada. Someone from the Troy office has moved in and taken over for him, though. We still need organizers to help with GOTV, but I think they left enough people on the ground to get us through the next couple of weeks.
