That was my question too!!! :D Mark doesn't do anything mysterious for the AF that can't be told. He just does electrical work all day! It's neat to hear about other jobs. We are DYING to PCS out of here - only because we don't want to be at a base that deploys so much anymore. He updates his dream sheet daily, literally, because he went to a thing and they told him that the best way to get orders is to update it constantly so the computer will have his name at the top. Or something. I'm not sure, but we want out of here... I've been thinking that Wyoming would be kind of fun. Hehe! Mark says "NO WAY!!" to Wyoming.. but the thought of being in the open wilderness (is Cheyenne really open wilderness? Um, not sure!) and stuff seems kinda neat. We're kind of over being in this busy busy area.. makes us miss BG a lot! And of course Mark wants to go overseas. We just wanna go anywhere :)

he is SUCH a big kid! I can't imagine Adalyn looking and being that big. I dream of the day I can just lay her down and she'll go to sleep. I doubt it will ever happen :) I love this post!!!!!!!!!!! And i LOVE all the pics of Mr. E!!!!!!!

THAT WAS MY QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adalyn's current age, too, is my favorite! but I also loved aspects of all her ages.. the cuddles of a newborn, packing her in the Moby as an infant.. watching her learn to sit up and all that stuff. but it is so fun for them to be more social and learn new things. I can't wait for Ad to turn one year and then talk and really play with us!!

you know I love this show!! I totally agree with you. Almost all the parents are like this. One time there was this single dad.. well, the girl actually chose to live with him instead of her mom. But he was SOOO supportive. He was an awesome dad and was like her best friend. It was the episode where the baby's father disowned the baby and signed over his rights and she changed the baby's last name back to her last name. But anyway, he's the only one I've ever known to be supportive and there for her! And I agree with Jen.. I wouldn't let my kid be on MTV. And, also, I can't believe the parents say the things they do in front of cameras. Like, no shame! Especially Caitlynn's mom..

omg i LOVE the idea of keeping them to scrapbook and look back on. i am a fiend for documenting life so i can look back on it years from now and remember. it will be so sweet to see what you were thankful for when he was a baby!! also, i love your little fall arrangement tree. how cute! :D i'm sad that i can't decorate for Christmas this year. otherwise, our tree would TOTALLY be up already. stinky :( next year, though, we'll have a 14-month old, and i'm SO excited for next year's holiday season!!!!

Piper would *so* have jetted off. Idk if I ever told you, but in my last week of pregnancy, I took Piper out to potty. We were standing there, and suddenly a lawn mower came on, and the dog next door barked really loud, and Piper FREAKED out, whipped around, and that jerked the leash out of my hand, and she took off running :( She was just scared.. haha. I started to cry immediately and called Mark. I was too big to run after her. But thank God she just came back within a minute. Just as I was telling him that she ran off, she came back. WHEW. We need a fence SOOOO bad. One without a gate ;]

yeah, I really think my life is average too and not unlike anyone else's. It'll just be way different (in a terrible way) when he deploys in Dec :[ and then I'll realize that I'm a military wife. If one more person tells me that it'll "fly by" .... :)

We don't have one of these!!! But it really does make total sense. I bet it REALLY comes in handy if you have 2 kids and are running amuck and *need* something to remind you because your life is so crazy! I can't tell you how many times my sister has asked me (in the past), "What time did I feed him last??" and I'd be like.. uhhhh I dunno!!! Haha! What a creative little gadget.

Also, ok, so you just put him down right after he has a bottle? like when he's WIDE awake? Or is he kinda drowsy from the milk? I'm just trying to make a technique in my head.. modeled after you! :) :)

Oh yeah!!! I think Chris told Mark about them giving him a "briefing" (wrong word) about Walmart there to warn them about how dangerous it is. Scary!! We have multiple Walmarts in our town, but we definitely have a "ghetto" one and we've had horrrrible experiences there. Like, scary! Anywho, our damaged section is in a hidden alcove by the butter. It almost looks like where the employees might go, because it's SO hidden. But they always have a tonnnn of damaged stuff. Like where boxes have been smashed or opened a little. But like the actual cereal plastic bag is undamaged, so it's 100% safe and healthy still! :)

wow that's pretty smart to calculate it up before you get to the checkout. it really depends on the week, but i USUALLY have a list. I kinda leave it up in the air as far as "snacks" go. we really like the damaged section at the commissary ;] I got a huuuge jumbo box of name-brand Frosted Flakes for like $1.87! Normally I get the Walmart brand of cereal. I have a knack for memorizing prices. This past week, the commissary charged 50 cents EXTRA for the Simply Lemonade juice I love than Walmart did!!!!! Even with the tax difference, Walmart still came out cheaper for the juice. So I try to memorize standard prices, so I recognize when they decide to charge extra. (Sidenote: WHY do stores do that?!?!?!? Why is juice $1.50 one week and $2 the other?? It makes no sense..) Anyway :) We pretty much do things the same way! Except I love grocery shopping. Because it means more food for us!! :) :) By the end of the pay period, our kitchen is pretty empty :)

Even if i *wanted* to paint, I wouldn't even know what type of paint or whatever to get!! Last time I looked for paint at Hobby Lobby, there were ZILLIONS of kinds! Totally overwhelming :) oh, HERE'S MY OFFICIAL ENTRY! i hope I win. hehehehe!

I can't wait to mother my child from OUTSIDE of the womb! I try to tell her all the fun and snuggles and lovies that we could share together.. but she won't listen. Sigh! :] until then, my life is one big guilty pleasure.. hahaha.
