I now have a better understanding of the reasons for`slowness` of justice system. A institution whether it is garbage collection agency, water delivery or letter delivery or justice delivery process have to be operating in real time to improve efficiency, reliability and safety of witnesses and credibility of the system. It must be operating like a well oiled locomotive, moving at the same speed of societal needs for same product. Given the bogged,down, clogged up court system currently, and high propensity of heinous,carnage-like crimes; I particularly like measure #3/ [though all recommendations seemed good and needed] should be fast-tracked,even if,they have to import judges and used example `Jamaica conference centre or ole gun court facility or up park camp facilities as such court to have `murder trials at fast paced would greatly reduce crime/ To hear that `joe` is sentenced in say six months and not on bail would be good and if, not guilty,would also be good.

In Jamaica currently, you will read `headlines` like this` trial of man for 2009, murder just transfer to circuit.` Man held for murder since 2010 who is on bail, had bail extended, since the authorities had difficulty locating the witnesses` One `Cashplus `trial took ten years to get off the ground/ then`dismissed` another one on trial for eight years`. No good justice can be obtained in such judiciaries, where such has becomes norms. Unless the person was just held, in USA, UK or Canada for a circumstances in 2009, in 2017, would be only way that case would not have been completed already. While they fiddles, justice went missing in action, lead to what can be termed a lawlessness society.

The politicians them just need to see to it, that when drains are contracted out to be cleaned, that it is well done before payments are made. That itself, would be great newness from the political handouts, PNP has been using it as for years. I had memory of Seaga`s high standards during 1980`s, when `MPM` had responsibility for drains and gullies cleaning and maintenance that PNP had disbanded to give to `NWA` back to sloppy collecting without working/hustlings. It would be renewed newness, itself. The mentality is what needs changing/ Good pay for works well done.

And when police find and convict the murderers, the lawyers, politicians, judges, seemingly get sorry for convicts and are not sentencing them to death and many leading politicians from 1989 to current against the very laws, they had sworn to uphold regardless. Action not bag of mouth, no amount of good policies, economics and policing can be effective, if their is not matching penalties imposed and carried out for matching the severity of crimes.

It is `shame and disgrace, with high per capita murder rate as in the ratio relationship in this world, many was speechless, when given Jamaica`s longstanding laws re capital punishment for those convicted of capital crimes. The revelation is, by Minister of National Security,that their is currently no one on `deathrow` in Jamaica is quite astounding and appalling. Given our JUDGES MUST not BE PLAYING THEIR PART sufficiently and efficiently,GIVEN THE SEVERITY OF year to year high murder rates in Jamaica since early 1990`s.

Sensationalism is totally out of sync with high scientific technological requirements and all I see is `nothing scientific enough to warrant such a drastic action before diseases investigations etc. Public Health is not about supporting politicians; it is making food safe for all irrespective of what. good companies are also good public Health institutions.

Correct dear. `Rotten meat`condemend by Health Officials/discarded portions are constantly part of waste of any type of meat manufacturing proc, like we some rotten ackees would be part of waste of ackee processing.. Being a Public Health Official, I read the article quite well and as scientificity requires, that one do not put `horses before carts` and correct procedure must be adhered to and followed before `putting food on hold` or closing any premises. Grace Kennedy and Brazilian authorities has indicated that the companies, that export to Jamaica are not under any investigation, whatsoever and by scientificity[not by sensationalism/ associated with mention of `rotten meat presence/similarly was re/plastic rice` assertions..resulting from new reports and facebook postings] is how Public Health safety is NOT supposed to be adjudged, definitely not by unproven allegations and sensationalism. Based upon the amount of same companies present in Brazil and the miniscule percentage under investigation[yep`complaint are constant part of public Health, likewise investigations to ensure safety] but you cannot[should not-I meant] lock-down a supermarket because you get a complaint,is not reason by itself to `put on hold any product; one has to investigate first, test samples etc prior to making the decisions; not like those who seemingly had advice Minister Samuda incorrectly, it seems were not practising the procedures we learnt @ Public Health Schools, worldwide. Chances are the violations might be present; it can also be not present.
Fact of meat processing includes; only portion of meat can be `waste in such facilities not leaves and papers` and the presence of `rotten meats` might be well in the designated `bins` areas for those thing to be stored for appropriate disposal and not on the meat for consumption line.
NB: No disease nor such have resulted fro many consuming such product in Jamaica or elsewhere. Me-think the Minister got and followed bad advice as such and thus might have unfairly and unscientifically maligned a good,safe, nutritional product, like they did to `rice before christmas.
.Note Well,scientifically; plastic is a synthetic product-polymer which just cannot be cooked. International experienced Inspector, who teaches food and drug safety to company etc in USA/Jamaica from a youth.
