It appears to be the dominant instrument that I'm hearing; e.g., it's the only one a) carrying the melody, and b) playing for the entire hymn (except for a brass solo starting at 3:09).

Funny, I don't see that instrument listed in Scripture. The Psalms list flutes, lyres (ancient guitars?), strings, drums, singers, etc., but no organ. Hmmm!

Re: Marketing questions for the LCMS

Herein lies the boondoggle of "marketing" the Church. We don't offer a "product," Church is an invitation to join in a fellowship; primarily a fellowship with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, but also a fellowship with fellow, fallen sinners redeemed by grace. The "price" has already been paid, "you were ransomed from the futile ways ..., not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ" (1 Peter 1: 18-19). "Place" and "Promotion" are negotiable, "Place" can be anywhere two or three are gathered (Mt. 18:20), but ultimately, we are making disciples (Mt. 28:19ff), not "consumers".
