It's not who's riding but what you ride.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;'Cool bike, mister!'; 'Hey, love your bike.'; 'Your bike is really cool' are the typical comments we get from youngsters as we pedal by.  We thought some of them (especially the older teens) were taking the proverbial at first, but it's all genuine.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Whether they are on foot, bikes, skateboards or inside a car, the reaction is the same.  Jaws drop, heads turn, envy ensues.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What bikes?  Small-wheeled folders (Bike Fridays - pics on &lt;a href="http://www.cheshirecycleway.co.uk" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="www.cheshirecycleway.co.uk"&gt;www.cheshirecycleway.co.uk&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Why cool?  Possibly it's the small wheels - the BMX connection?  Perhaps it's the infinite possibilities - going somewhere, doing something.  Possibly it's the idea of independence.  We'd love to know.
