If a guy works for a company like that for years, his loyalty is with his paycheck. You can't blame a guy for that, but the people deserve better.

Re: Superior Court Judge candidates answer questions from The Marysville Globe and The Arlington Times - Arlington Times

Usually I don't give much thought to the Superior Court Judge position in Snohomish County but this year I'm taking the time to look into this a little further. The interviews all looks good on paper, but the truth is I'm voting for the person who does not have a DUI: that rules out David Hulbert and Joe Wilson. At their age, I cannot believe that it was an isolated incident. You don't need to have a drinking problem to be empathetic. Is there going to be a sign outside the Buzz Inn saying "The Judges' In?"

And as for Rico Tessandore, I checked him out, too. He works for FARMERS INSURANCE--that's his e-mail address! How can anyone think that working for a huge insurance company represents the people of Snohomish County and our interests? It's a nice paycheck--for him!

Hopefully I never have to experience the court system, but if I ever do, I want someone who is looking out for justice and the PEOPLE of our county.
