ACLU members couldn't carry guns because their sphincters would snap shut and they wouldn't be able to converse. When is it all right to legally carry a gun in your perverted view? I carry a gun for self defense. I am 65 yrs old, bad knees and can't retreat very fast anymore. I am trained and practice bi-weekly, both draw and shooting. I have a gun near me 24/7. We have to protect ourselves from the SEIU Purple Bullies, don't we. I saw them attack a person in a wheelchair, what protection do I have. Do you deny my rights as a citizen to protect myself? The President's entourage each carry 2 guns, 1 being an automatic type machine pistol. By law I can't carry one of those without a Class III license. I am outgunned and outmanned.
Should I just stay home and not make waves, so this administration can run rough shod over us Citizens. It seems like the 11 million or so Illegal Immigrants have more rights than I do. Is there something wrong with this picture?
p.s. I don't carry open, I carry my gun concealed. So I am not trying to prove anything. What specious argument you make at best. Your whole Alan Alda look alike persona seems to work for you. He is a Liberal weenie, also.

I truly think that you are a lying, sniveling Liberal witch. You would do or say anything to try to elect a Socialist like Obama. I find this very hard to swallow. I am in Arizona and I am forwarding this garbage that you wrote to John & Cindy McCain. I feel it is libelous and actionable in court if it is false. What tripe.

Laughable at best. Look at the PBS NOW poll to see how many basically Liberals think Sara Palin is able to be a VP of The US.

Shark, do you have any idea how Politics work? Don't blame the economy on the President. In a PBS NOW Poll, the people say Palin is qualified to lead as VP by a margin of 56 to 43 pct. We do know who watches PBS. Please read the following piece on Politicians, then let me know your feelings.
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, The Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congress-men, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 300 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress.

In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority.

They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing.

I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he/she votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall.

No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.

The president can only propose a budget.

He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.

Who is the speaker of the House?

The leader of the majority party.

That person, along with fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want and it has always been that way regardless of which party has the majority.

If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.

I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.

When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ .

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.

Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people and they alone, are responsible.

They and they alone, have the power.

They and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

THIS IS CALLED CHANGE!
NO INCUMBENTS!
A maximum of 2 terms, absolute limit!

I am an American who is very afraid for the direction that this country is going. Communism & Socialism have never worked in any society. Nor is Capitalism perfect. I can't believe the wave of people jumping on the Obama bandwagon, because he is the new media darling. He has no proven trackrecord, has never authored or even co-authored a Seenate bill. Voted present 143 times, instead of taking a stance. He was sponsored by Ayers & Dorhn at their palatial home in Chicago. Anyone that is supported by the Communist Party of the USA is bothersome.. You are a typical ideological liberal. You would vote for anyone as long as they were a liberal/Democrat, without reservation. That is what scares me. I don't believe your Muslim analogy. There are no absolutes. I am a registered Independent, I would vote for Ron Paul except for the fact that that would be a vote for Obama. You can never shut a liberal up because that is all they do is talk. I llove a good debate. Too bad liberals can't stand the truth or logic. How are we going to pay for Obamas liberal programs. I have a thought why don't we tax business? Oh but Mr Liberal, do you realize that businesses only collect taxes and pass them through to the government.Business does not pay taxes, we the people do. Just not a Muslim/Islamic. The Rev Jeramiah (sp) is not what I believe is correct for a religion. He is a racist! No room for racism. Obama only converted to Christianity when Ayers and Dorhn got him to run for President. It's too late for this Uber Left Muslim wacko to change his stripes.

fred, I would say the complete opposite, I think you and your weird friends supporting an Islamic/Muslim unknow entity is what is scary! I am a rational, and know this will scare you, a hard working retired American who is also a veteran. I worked hard, bought a house, paid my overbearing taxes for the Liberals failed welfare system. No proof since FDR that this system has worked. I believe every American is entitled to a floor of safety under them for food and shelter. We have these systems in place already.
I don't think I owe you a 60" big screen TV or a 4 bedroom 2 bath home, unless you work for it and can purchase it.
Welfare recipients should only get their checks at the end of a 40 hr work week or that their children were productively in school every day and they can pass a drug test.
I am tired of paying for their dope and liquor.
I know this affronts your senses, but get over it. We the middle class are not going away!
I am a registered independent, who would have voted for Ron Paul, but alas if I did, it would be a vote for Obama and that will never happen.
He will lose in November and we can get down to life again for 3 more years. 1 year of campaigning.
I think a strict term limit of 2 terms for any politician is more than enough...

100% Arabic blood is acceptable for me to be President under the following conditions: He/she were not a Muslim or Islamic. Swore on a Christian Bible to uphold the Constitution.
Was not endorsed by the Communist Party. Was not backed by Ayers and Bernadette Dorhn or any other of his Communist or Uber Socialist elitist guard.
Remember a Communist is just a Socialist in a hurry.

Those were numbers done by a person who studies bloodlines and heredity. His Father was mostly Arabic from his part of Kenya. I will have to look for the sight. My biggest concern is Obamas backers, when The Communist Party of the US, Ken Ayers and Bernadette Dorhn back you that makes me real nervous. I din't guess at any numbers. I only reported as to what I construed as fact. A lot better than James carville and hi ilk ever did. As I said we are not silent anymore. The middle and right are standing together until the Socialists and left wing looneys are out of our Government. Sorry for typos. Hard to type when I am pissed off.

The choice is clear, vote Demo for a Left Wing Arabic/Islamic/Muslim Extremist or vote for John McCain a real American hero. I would vote for Ron Paul but unfortunately that would be a non-vote for McCain. We need mcCain alot more than a corrupt radical organizer backed by The Communist Party, known Commies John Ayers and his killer wife Bernadette Dorhn.
