That might work against an average mugger-type-person, but maybe not against another martial arts master :P

Besides, we don't know how long has passed since the thousand-fist thing started. This whole thing might have only taken 10 seconds or so.

Well...I'm of two thoughts on this. First, you often incorporate action cliches in this comic, and a classic cliche is killing the young sidekick, thus sending the main guy (Maru in this case) into a fury.
On the other hand, you often make fun of those exact cliches and do exactly the opposite. So I'll just have to wait and see what happens :|

Btw, I'd rather see the kid live, so don't think I'm a heartless bastard.

Guess I should have made my question clearer. I meant could you catch a sword blade with your HAND and not get part of your hand cut off (like Hirotomo did above, or Ryoku on the bridge)?

This page kinda enforces my theory that Matrix and the other guy (I guess his name is Lex?) are from the future. I might be wrong (not unusual :P) but it's what I think.
