It's just amazing to me that so many companies reporting earnings are saying the strong dollar is hurting profits yet the Fed members are talking a rate hike. Hard to believe they wouldn't do something to lower the dollar not run it up even more.

Re: Hot Option Babe - Why Apple popped

Hi Anna, Where does Rich post his picks now?

Re: Hot Option Babe - Why Apple popped

I believe Cocoa is topping out. http://screencast.com/t/af1... It's making a diamond pattern along with the seasonal chart which tops out mid December when demand after the holidays drops off http://screencast.com/t/TOQ... Looks like a easy 75-100 point drop before support plus the stop could be fairly tight, right above the upper right trend line.

Re: Hot Option Babe - Why Apple popped

Thank you Anna, hope all is well with you too

Re: Hot Option Babe - Why Apple popped

Got filled short on Live Cattle at 134.00 Monday, got a little nervous it may break the upper trend line but today was a good day :) http://screencast.com/t/YC3...

Re: Hot Option Babe - Why Apple popped

There's another low risk trade setting up in Live cattle. Since October it hasn't been able to break the previous high. Friday opened right at the upper trend line and sold off again. Looking at the 15min chart it looks like a small H&S setting up, a safe play would be to sell below 134 or if it does break the upper trend line, buy at 135.

Re: Hot Option Babe - Why Apple popped

I switched to watching Commodities of late due to less manipulation. Do you have a way you play the VIX? Seems the ETF's have a decay problem associated with them. UVXY, TVIX will drop even when the VIX is flat or has a small gain.
