Sadly, I'd also like to give it a blu-ray drive and the only slot-loading slim-line blu-ray drive I can find is one made by Sony which has terrible reviews.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you don't need the blu-ray functionality, I'd definitely go for a slot loading one just because of aesthetics sake.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thermals, well it really depends on how many fans you decide to cram in there. Same board, 2 sticks of Kingston DDR3 1333MHz RAM, a 16GB SSD for OS loading and a 2TB HDD for media storage. Only problem is the heat sink on the board is a little...tall.
