While all three of these are awesome updates, the captions in multiple languages is my favorite in this round. Although I always love more options for getting data out of video/project performance as well, one of the overall best parts of the Wistia platform IMO! :)

We have customers all around the world at WooThemes and being able to offer captions in other languages on our educational videos will be fantastic. We don't publish a video without making sure we have captions for anyone that has a hearing disability. Now we can make sure to cover non-English speaking customers as well. +100

While using Product Vendors and Bookings you'll currently only get 50% of the way there, sorry to say.

This easily lets other vendors create bookable products, but it doesn't let them manage their appointments, orders, or bookings calendar just yet. They would get access to sales reports for their bookings, but that is all at the moment.

Somewhat true perhaps, but with the issues mentioned it doesn't make sense to risk the malware to just test them out. Maybe costing you more in the long run to shore up your install again after malicious code has done its deeds.

Plus the product you "pirate", as seen above, will most likely be far out of date. Which if not full of malware gives you a very sub par experience, and could lead you to not even purchasing it.

Say you did download Superstore to test it out with WooCommerce, well the version you downloaded freely won't even work with the latest version of WooCommerce. Leading you to say, "Oh, this theme (or WooCommerce) is crap."

In the case with our products from WooThemes, it makes more sense to know we have a 30 day money back guarantee (as most should). Buy the product from the source, you get access to resources and support to help you test the theme per say. If you end up not liking it, ask for a refund.

Just my two cents. ;)

Current version is 3.7.1, WordPress 3.8 (coming in December) has a nice UI refresh.

We didn't do this in hopes of directly taking features from Standard and their way of implementing their features, but it could be a plus side of the situation.

In particular with the feedback from the Standard community perhaps making its way into our Canvas theme.

I think the trade off is quite fair. :)

If you are a Standard customer you can still download it and get support from our staff now for the next year (instead of 30 days). Plus parts of Standard will live on in our products, giving everyone a chance to move on to a theme with a longer lifespan but still the same features and more!

Correct, even though before our price changes his lifetime license may have been unlimited/lifetime/forever/etc... there's no sustainability in that. Meaning all of WooThemes might have collapsed within the next two years rendering his license useless, and the product on life support.

Essentially saying that his lifetime license is only as good as long as WooThemes can stay in business.

If you are looking for a wonderfully high quality lav at an awesome price, we think this is one of the best options out there. Especially since this includes a FREE MiCon connector, not to mention the awesome protective case that comes with the lav.

We use a pair of these when filming weddings with the MiCon-2 connector, each plugged into a Zoom H1. We normally mic the groom and officiant, and stuff the H1 in a jacket pocket.

It's turned out wonderfully with these mics. Perfect sound quality and perfect price!

Hey Tom,

In another unrelated note, we took back the MacBook Air. It just wasn't cutting it to do photo and video editing on a 27" Thunderbolt display. We've got two new 13" MacBook Pro's for that now. :)

Regardless of all that, they are running Mountain Lion now. For my personal use I'm only managing two Twitter accounts. @ryanr14 & @2arebetter, personal and my small photo/video business.

I do have those hooked up in Mountain Lion, and do get the notifications for them. But they take you to Twitter's actual site if you click on them. I normally use the native Twitter Mac app. That's where I keep those two accounts, nothing fancy for me.

We manage the @woothemes account through Desk.com, where we also pull in our Facebook account and emails. That's where I do that work from. :)
