I believe it should be allowed, to draw even more fans into a sport. My only rule is, if it seems to distract the player and/or effect his performance in and/or during the game, then it should be banned... for that player. They should not penalize others for ones mistakes.

Look at NASCAR. Yes, fans are made fun of because all it is is "cars making left turns", but if you are at the race, at home or even in your car, you can listen to the drivers, spotters and crew chiefs during the race. This brings the audience and fans one step closer to feeling like they are part of the game. Maybe it is much needed for some people to get more out of a race, but either way it shows how additional ways to engage your audience can prove to be helpful and grow a larger fan base.

Ochocinco will do anything he wants and will do what ever it takes to reach his fans. In the past, he has thought about hiring/picking one lucky fan to tweet for him during games. He would pick one person for every game, set them up with a seat and give signals as to what to tweet via mobile during the game to his fans. He is a clever and I can't wait to see what he does next.

This is just one more more thing to think about when it comes to adapting and evolving with technology.

Best,
Ryan
