Yet ANOTHER reason for why I'm STILL convinced you are an amazing individual in more ways than you'll ever know.

One of my biggest regrets is that I never got the chance to get out and see Fall Out Boy perform live but I absolutely LOVE hearing about all the great memories you had at FOB shows throughout the years in this blog.

Off to read/comment on the rest of your blogs that I've missed!
~Pamela

Re: http://symphonysoldier.com/post/372103314

I love this because it's SO similar to the way I think sometimes- thoughts swirling around left and right, one thing leading to another. Almost like organized chaos even though I'm sure a lot more thought went into writing this than that. <3

Re: http://symphonysoldier.com/post/373784119

Absolutely beautiful- I don't care if you wrote this at 3AM!
My favourite part is "on thursday i sing silence in a room filled with screams. i am a needle nightmare in a haystack full of diamond shaped dreams."

Excited to hear that you'll be posting on here more often from now on!
~Pamela

Re: Haven't posted in a while.

Truer words were never spoken- heck, I'm 22 years old and I STILL don't think I've reached the age where I've stopped growing up. You think you have everything figured out and then life comes at you again with another giant curve ball that makes you wonder if you'll ever be 'grown-up' enough to...well...understand everything. But that's sort of getting off topic.

I kept a journal when I was in high school, too. They're definitely fun to read from time to time now that I'm older but I catch myself cringing at some of the stuff I wrote about.- I'm sure you probably cringe at some of your old entries, too though, right?

Rambling is good. I like to ramble, too- which is probably why I feel like I always leave you comments that are WAY too long. Oh well, I figure as a fellow rambler, you'll be able to deal. ;)

~Pamela

Re: You Don't Know Me

I feel like we go through life as kids thinking that someday everything will just click and we'll know the answers to everything and then, as you get older, you realize that day's probably never going to get here.
Perhaps the answer to understanding incomprehensible things that we can't seem to grasp our heads around is to come to terms with the fact that sometimes there ARE no set answers... or maybe this is just me rambling and pulling things out of thin air.

Either way, thanks for the food for thought. :)

~Pamela

Re: peepshow

Kelly has a point, sex hair IS pretty essential and damn...well... sexxy. haha!

Looking forward to your post about Bryan-- I'm sure I'm not the only one who's more than a little interested to know a bit more about him before you guys kick off your tour!

Can't wait to see you guys play live this Sunday at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco!- hopefully I'll get the chance to talk to you a bit before or after your set. :)

lots of love,
Pamela

Re: Welcome to Thirtizzle.com

Dear Cash--

I have absolutely NO idea if you read the comments made to your blog but I figured I'd take a shot and post this on here anyway...
I promise there is a point to this rather long letter but I would first like to take the time to introduce myself.

Hello, my name is Pamela and I'm a 21-year-old student currently in my third year in the Journalism program at San Francisco State University.

I've been thinking a lot lately about what aspect of journalism I'd like to go into after I graduate. The truth of the matter is, I’m not exactly sure exactly what I want to do with journalism or where I’d like to work once I graduate but I DO know that my dream is to someday say that I’ve talked with all the people who have inspired or affected my life in some form or another.

As a band, you and the rest of the guys of The Cab are most definitely on that list.
It’s harder than you know to put into words exactly how your band has affected my life, but here is a feeble attempt at doing so:

I remember the first time I listened to ‘Whisper War’ in my car right after my brother picked it up at Best Buy and told me I HAD to listen to this band he’d heard on myspace awhile back with killer vocals and guitar riffs. I was instantly blown away by a band I’d never heard of from Las Vegas who had managed to create a debut album with a sound that was all their own and where no one song on the CD sounded the same. – I found myself making excuses to drive around aimlessly in my car just so I could crank up the volume and be completely absorbed in songs like ‘Bounce’, ‘Take My Hand’ or ‘Can You Keep A Secret?’
This brings me to the reason I’m writing this letter to all of you:

I’m writing to you to ask if there is any possible way you could spare a bit of your time while you’re here in San Francisco for the June 21st ‘What Happens In Vegas…’ show date at Café Du Nord and allow me the chance to interview you.

I’m sure you guys probably get requests like this all the time, and I understand that you guys are probably on a tight schedule, but even if all you could spare was 5 minutes to meet with me, I would be eternally grateful.
The opportunity to interview one, a few, or all of you regarding your music would mean the world to me both as an aspiring journalist and someone who admires you all for all your talent and the dedication you put into your music.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for considering to meet with me.

Looking forward to possibly speaking with you guys on or around June 21st and of course, I can’t wait to watch you all perform live in a few weeks!

Take care and I hope to hear back from you soon!

Sincerely,

Pamela Gocobachi
pgocobachi@gmail.com

PS: I apologize in advance if you’ve read this somewhere else before—I figured the best way to ensure at least one of you read this before June 21st would be to post/send it to as many places as I could think of in the hopes that one of you would see it and respond!

Re: Symphony Soldier - The Blog of Alex DeLeon

Dear Alex--

I've heard you mention countless times that you read each and every reply written to you so I'm hoping that by some miracle, even though this entry is 10 days old, you'll read this and hopefully respond back...

IS a pretty fun word to say!

Take care and thanks for the answers to my questions! :)

~Pamela

Re: Q & A

Can I ask you two questions...?

Touring means you guys get the opportunity to visit tons of different and amazing cities-- what's the one city you thoroughly enjoyed stopping in on tour but wished you'd had more time to explore? Why?

What's your favorite word in the English language and why?

Look forward to hearing your response!

-- Pamela

Re: Dan Young's Blog

Thanks!
