Thanks to you and Rachel. As a bonus I'm learning about the Rep. Alan Grayson you mentioned. I saw him previously grilling the attorney for the Fed on C-SPAN about market manipulation and it was ominous but funny. A lone congressman throwing tough questions to a nervous lawyer backed by a phalanx of butt sucking, smirking employees.

My bet is that the whole theater of war is built with the same disregard for proper electrical installation. I once heard the justification that "it's a war zone". Afghanistan, the geographic manifestation of "the war on terror".

My two cents as a retired IBEW journeyman electrician is that there is never an excuse for an electrocution except maybe from defective power tools, etc. that are plugged into a regular outlet and that is not the case with KBR. For 30 years the first thing I ever did in wiring a new installation was to ground and bond all of the metallic parts of the electrical distribution system as per the National Electrical Code. Utilization equipment connected directly to the system comes with lugs where the green bonding wires are screwed down. Thus, when an inadvertent short occurs between a hot wire and any metallic surfaces a fuse or circuit breaker immediately blows. That's the way it is designed. If it were not so, there would be low value leaks of current from anywhere resulting in shocks, deaths and fires. In addition, people who may be in a pool, hot tub or shower and reach over to tune a radio are taken into consideration. The rebar under the concrete is bonded to the system and by law ground fault circuit interrupters must be installed on outlets that are to be available to the bather. These GFI's interrupt the circuit whenever there are extremely small leaks to ground as through a persons body. As for not knowing who did the work? If you believe that, than you believe in elves.

The CIA called it brainwashing when the Chinese did it in 1953 . The purpose was to get confessions to things that had never happened. Today the CIA uses it for the same purpose to justify their wars. Hey, Dick (head), you should worry about the new regime in Japan. They don't believe your 9/11 conspiracy theory. They want to know how 24 citizens died. They question the "war on terror" and their refueling mission for our warships on the way to Afghanistan. What if it all unravels and they try you for war crimes? Lying, smirking, chimp faced boy has an alibi- he was reading a goat story. Will he give you up under oath? You're all alone now. Leon Paneta saw you in the command center giving orders to ignore the incoming attack on the Pentagon. Will you flee to Israel or your penthouse in Dubai? Good riddance asshole.

Reporting from Washington - Leading GOP lawmakers cautioned U.S. Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. on Wednesday against opening an investigation into alleged CIA interrogation abuses, saying that such an inquiry could have serious national security repercussions.

"It is well past time for the Obama administration to lift the cloud that has been placed over those in the intelligence community and let them return to the job of saving American lives," the lawmakers wrote in a letter to Holder signed by nine Republican senators. An investigation that distracts the CIA, the lawmakers said, "could leave us more vulnerable to attack." ...9/11...9/11...9/11.
Time to go back to those terror alert colors even crony Tom Ridge, Secretary of Homeland Security, admits were purely political Bushit.

All is fair in love and war. So Blackwater is just another tool in the pentagon's weapons bag.
"This is not a war of choice. This is a war of necessity," Obama told the annual Veterans of Foreign Wars conference -- cautioning that the insurgency would not be defeated overnight. "Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. If left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which Al Qaeda would plot (from caves) to kill more...blah, blah... 9/11... 9/11... 9/11".
If "those who attacked us" are getting ready to do it again, just fire them B O.
