Wow, so much negativity in these comments. I wholeheartedly welcome all the skeptics over to Ponychan so we can discuss how you feel! I understand your kneejerk reaction. I had it, too. I think all of us did. But as it turns out, we all just need a bit more love and tolerance than we think we do. And we've got plenty of it to share.

Absolutely! I'm kinda odd, I guess, in that I prefer to go to my news rather than have them come to me, so I don't register on mailing lists or anything like that. If I wanna know if site X or person Y has updates, I've got Twitter and their own sites for that. And I always like audio better than text, because it means I can look at other stuff meanwhile!

Of course, if it's any more hassle at all than just plain typing (though I don't see why it would be), text works too. I'm just that much less likely to pick up on everything new if I have to try keeping my head steady to read a bunch of text while munching on a turkey sandwich or whatever.

Awesome. Shame he beat me to the punch, I've been working on a picture for a while, too! But it's nowhere near this spectacular. This piece quickly grew to be my absolute favorite of everything he's made, and with his friends pushing him on and nitpicking via Ustream (isn't that the best thing ever?) while he was drawing it, the polish came out fantastic, too.

You deserve this attention, Stamps! And Matt, look forward to at least one more picture sometime very soon. Just don't expect to be this blown away by it...

I would, definitely. I'd need someone to send me a camera though... As for the song, I don't know, it's difficult to think of anything really. I just so happened to be singing along with The Good Life right now. And just so happened I had ideas on making a video for that video. That wouldn't be horribly off. Join the Conversation is another obvious idea if only because of the subject matter.

Stampy suggests Lost My Way, heh.

You may not write about birds, but they show up! I don't know whether you mean to or not. Ten thousand feathers accounts for a few of 'em, there were hawks outside the window, and hope apparently has feathers, too. Of course, birds are very easy to write about and be inspired by. They're the only wild animal that dares to hang around us pesky humans, and that don't crawl around under our floorboards or have more than four legs.

I've got an imaginary friend, too, in a way. He's not a bird, but he seems to have an unhealthy fascination with them. If I'd made him to be everything I want to be, he would be a bird. But instead I made him everything I am, so he has the same dreams that I do. It'd be nice to be able to fly. Even for just a while. Even just to sit on a rooftop for a while and get some perspective. Or to get away from the noisy people below.

I could write a song about that. It is strange that not all people have those kinds of thoughts, or like to share them...
