Jim Munn is clueless, but the worst is he is greedy and selfish.

The teacher's union, his baby bottle, supports illegals because the union wants people voting illegally and filling the schools so more union members like Jim Munn get ridiculous pay and benefits for WORKING PART TIME.

The fact that a track coach can get a full time salary, benefits, and the option to retire early is just selfish.

But the illegal immigrant deal means money in the bank to people like Munn. He could care less about anything but his own selfish desires. And that is why the school system is such a mess, and also why someone who benefits financially from his "opinions" shouldn't be writing a column.

Seabiscuit, do you know how much the vets charge for spaying, all the shots, and everything else? Yes, even the shelters have to pay these bills for each animal.

The adoption fee is a BARGAIN!

There is no such thing as a free dog. That free dog needs a huge amount of vet care mentioned above, and you'll pay a lot more for your free dog than an adopted dog.

So now Mayor Carolyn Kirk and City Council president Jackie Hardy are getting really devious with their actions to raise taxes and abuse taxpayers.

More free stuff for their special interest group friends who give them campaign money, right, and the Gloucester taxpayers have to give them the money to grease the palms of their special interests.

In one of the worst economies ever.

The Gloucester taxpayers need to sue. This has gotten to the point of theft, of misgoverning, or corruption that isn't acceptable anymore.

Carolyn Kirk even basically admits that she isn't doing the right thing.

Animal Law professors Holly Vietzke and Diane Sullivan, of the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover should have complaints filed against them with the state Board of Bar Overseers for the falsehoods and lies they have put forth here. Their false "facts" are so false, they are a danger to public welfare.

If they are going to promote themselves as experts, they should not lie. And they have.

Lawyers are not supposed to lie.

The question is, WHY are they lying? Are they lawyers, or are they really lobbyists for the pit bull industry?

And many of the pit bulls that are doing this killing are loved pets. They have never been treated irresponsibly! They have responsible owners. They still kill!

All the training in the world didn't stop these unprovoked pit bull attacks.

And when pit bulls attack, they rip off people's limbs. They rip off children's scalps. This isn't puncture wounds like a lab or cocker spaniel bite, this is missing flesh. Pit bulls dismember people because of the years of breeding to produce dogs that can do maximum damage. Pit bulls do damage that normal pet breeds don't do.

A lab bite will be some healing. A pit bull attack means years of plastic surgery, artificial limbs, children whose faces are disfigured for life.

Do the pit bull lobbyists care? NO!! They just whine about their fighting dogs and how they should be allowed to let their pit bulls keep doing these things, with no laws to protect the public.

Pit bull people HATE people, that's for sure. They think pit bulls are more important than people's lives and bodies, or the lives of other pets.

Pit bulls are even killing HORSES!

Pit bulls are the prime killers and attackers of people and pets.

But it is getting tiresome that the people who make money from pit bulls always oppose regulations to protect their interests, and so people go on getting hurt and killed. Pit bull lobbyists don't care that these are fighting dogs and they HAVE ISSUES and that people are getting killed!

Animal Law professor Holly Vietzke should be honest. She is representing the people who make money from pit bulls and don't want laws. There are many pit bull dealers and dog fighter breeders in Massachusetts, not far from Andover, and these people manipuulate and harangue legislators to get their way, while the rest of the public keeps gets hurt. And it is SHAMEFUL that VIETZKE is actually quoting a completely falsified "temperament test" that has been discounted and was run by pit bull breeders to try to cover up the issues that pit bulls have!

These "animal rights lawyers" have no credibility whatsoever, and are trying to protect dogs that kill people. Citing dog breeder and dog fighter propaganda is not acceptable.

Vietze is outright LYING about German Shepherds and cocker spaniels, and shame on her! PIT BULLS ARE THE BREED THAT KILLS AND ATTACKS THE MOST! But the pit bull breeders come up with lies to try to make these false claims about other breeds. Shame on Vietze for using false dog breeder propaganda.

As for this Fountas, there are many vets who make money from pit bulls. Fountas knows full well that pit bulls are doing the majority of the killing and attacking. Hiding that FACT diminishes her credibility. When people make money from pit bulls, in whatever way, they often are quick to hide the truth and make up stories to hide the issues pit bulls have.

When a relative was nearly killed by a pit bull, I found out how the pit bull breeders and dog fighter lobby, together with their lawyer and vet friends, and other "experts" who are experts only in protecting pit bull businesses. I found out about the fake statistics and pit bull propaganda web sites and groups that OUTRIGHT LIE about the issues pit bulls have. They even blame innocent victims!

Andover needs to understand that dog fighters and dog breeders from out of state will try to harass them about passing laws. But many other states, towns, and cities stood up to these people, passed the laws, and the attacks instantly went down and even disappeared.

Pit bull owners have dogs with special issues, and they need to follow special laws so victims aren't getting hurt or killed. It's that simple.

There is so much drug dealing going on right in the middle of people's neighborhoods around here. Eventually there's going to be something really bad that flares up out of all this. They don't even bother to work on Fridays!

Take a look at City Hall on Friday. There's a line of citizens who need to get things done, who ARE working. The city hall doors are locked and city employees get the day off.

It's a disgrace, and they should be ashamed of themselves. But they have no shame. I suppose that is why they need to work at these government jobs that require no talent and no honor.

Kirk and her friends on the City Council will keep SPENDING and wasting our money until we stop giving it to them or elect them out.

We have unnecessary city employees, union contracts that are robbing us blind, bad planning, and KIRK JUST KEEPS SPENDING.

She and the city council stiffed businesses by planting more taxes on them.

And why should people using lots of water and filling swimming pools get subsidized by people who are careful about water use?

Thre's a plan. Charge people who have swimming pools, a luxury use.

CUT SPENDING. Renegotiate some of these outlandish union contracts. Cut the unneeed assistant school superintendants.

We have a City Council president, Jackie Hardy, who directly benefits from taxpayer-provided pensions and benefits. She does not need to worry about layoffs, foreclosures, or anything that many Gloucester citizens who DON'T collect from the taxpayer gravy train have to worry about.

Hardy and her comrades NEVER do what needs to be done- CUT SPENDING. CUT TAXES. Live within our means.

They ALWAYS resort to RAISING taxes to keep this whole Ponzi scheme (and themselves, and their special interest friends) in the money.

We need new leaders. We need leaders who are not watching out for their own personal interests, or related special interests. We need leaders that represent the majority of the citizens of Gloucester.

We don't have that now.

The court will STILL eventually be moved, and it will work more efficiently in Salem for Gloucester, and Gloucester will make better use of the court property, but in the meamntime Ferrante and Tarr will make sure this all costs taxpayers MILLIONS of dollars more to help people like Jennings ride the gravy train.

This makes NO SENSE.

The court needs to be moved. It is costing taxpayers a huge amount of money, and thanks to problem judges and inefficiency, the Gloucester court is not functioning anyway.

Ann-Margaret Ferrante and Tarr make NO SENSE other than costing us all so Jennings doesn't have to move!

No wonder Jennings has been dismissing everything for court costs.

The city has far better ways to use the building, and can use the future tax money, and Salem will have a brand new courthouse that will work for Gloucester residents more efficiently and for less money than keeping this wreck of a Gloucester courthouse open.

Ferrante and Tarr do NOTHING here but help the state waste millions of our dollars so a few government jobs can get dragged out as long as possible.

This is just a bunch of lies and red tape to keep this mess of a non-functioning court wasting a huge amount of money.

This is why Massachusetts and Gloucester are in the mess they are in! Inefficient overspending that just goes on because people like Tarr and Ferrante make sure that the waste continues, and that a few government employees like Jennings get their interests protected at the expense of all of us.

Ferrante has always been uselessly foolish, but Tarr seems to have lost his mind. He never seems to have been this backward and wasteful and out of touch before.
