What's the big deal about Saphire glass. I had a watch a decade ago with saphire glass and have been getting watches with Saphire glass only ever since as I was never able to scratch it.

This article is stupid. When I saw the first scratch on my Galaxy S1 I thought immediately that the tech companies should use saphire glass. Ofcourse I didn't have a billion dollars to do the reasearch and development so I take what is sold in the market. I don't go out there and complain that Apple stole my idea. Only a fool would write an article as such saying that someone copies someone else without concrete proof.

I am waiting for it to come on PC as well. If it doesn't release on PC by 2014 December I may buy it for PS4. Regardless of how amazing the game is I will hate rockstar for not releasing the PC version.

If you have a gaming PC you would not want to play a game on a stupid console. The reason is simple. The cost of my PC is $2000. The cost of my video card is higher than the cost of PS4. In other words PC has the potential to display graphics at its best, unlike a console.

I have a PS3 but I barely use it to play games. I use it more like a bluray player and I will probably get PS4 as well but PC will always be my first choice for gaming. Imagine not being able to play battlefield 4 on PC. I absolutely don't see why rockstar needs to delay the PC release. They played a similar trick with the GTA 4.

Canadians are not as lucky when it comes to prices. Every thing in USA is cheaper than Canada :)

The head phones are amazing. Way better than beats and so small that I even use them at work. For something so small it has a great bass too.

Thanks for the excellent review. I will end up spending over $200 to get these with taxes and shipping included. I am glad that apple Canada is selling these for the same price as in usa, or else these would be $50 more expensive for Canadians.

I am replacing my $300 huge beats wireless headphone with this as I broke them while taking off from my head. I tend to break the big head phones in a year or so (except the Logitech g930 which I use for gaming only). I will give these a try and see if they last at least 2 years.

A movie like the Hobbit has to make at least $100 million in its first weekend regardless of the time of release and especially because of no competition.
Avatar and Titanic didn't really have fans at the time of release like this movie does.

lol ... i get the feeling that sites post articles such as these just so that there could be a lot of attention to it from everyone.

The $200 million budget figure was cited first on Wikipedia by me from the article "Tron Legacy tracking below box office ex...." I guess Slash film is the first site to gets some stats for the movie's budget, as IMDB and The Numbers are also estimating the budget to be $200 million now.

I think that article has close to 250 comments due to its topic, and this one is near 150 comments. Articles that show a movie in negative perspective grab a lot of attention I guess. I like these articles, its fun to read all the comments :)

Anyways, I have booked 4 advance tickets in IMAX 3D to watch this movie with my family. I just hope its really good and the graphics are better or as good as Avatar.

Some cool facts about Tron Legacy I found on net to keep your expectations very high for the graphics in the movie :

“TRON: Legacy” truly embraces today’s available technology. Among other firsts, it is the first 3D movie to integrate a fully digital head and body based upon an existing actor, creating the younger version of Jeff Bridges’ character; it’s the first movie to make extensive use self-illuminated costumes; it’s the first movie to create molded costumes using digital sculpture exclusively, creating molds directly from computer files using CNC (Computer Numerical Cutting) technology; it’s the first 3D movie shot with 35mm lenses and full-35mm chip cameras; and it’s the first movie to record uncompressed HD Video to Hard Drive. It is also using the modified version of the famous James Cameron 3D Fusion Cameras that are used for Avatar.

They have also used high-speed digital cameras, such as Vision Research's Phantom models, to get the best out of the 3D shots.

There is over 40 minutes of the movie in full screen in IMAX 3D (Vertically expanded IMAX 3D Footage covering the whole screen corner to corner) ... longest length ever for a movie.

Don't get confused, the entire film was filmed in 3D, but some of it is full screen and some is the regular 3D size.

I got my Samsung Captivate for $149.99 and the current price is $99.99 but they refused to do a price match for me.

They said they will only do price match for 15 days and not 30 days.
I asked them for their price-match policy and they said there is no price match policy at all at Rogers. The reason they do the price-match for 15 days is because they don't want customers to return their phone due to a pricing dispute.

You are lucky that you got your money back after 15 days.
If you saw a price match policy anywhere on their website, please let me know as I couldn't find one.

I missed my 15 days price match limit by 3 days :(
They also refused to give me a Hardware upgrade rebate coupon ($50 for customers upgrading their phone with another 3 year contract) saying that at the time they sold the phone to me it was already discounted by $50 which is a lie as I don't think the Samsung Captivate was ever sold at $200.

I ordered my phone on Nov 16th, 2010.

I am glad I am with Bell for Internet, TV and Home Phone. Don't want to deal with Rogers too much.
Bell gave me a refund of $100 (90% of the cost) on my home phone for an overseas call I made accidentally. I got several other refunds from Bell like bandwidth exceeding refund, late service compensation refund (technician missed the date to fix something at my house), half price on receivers that I purchased, free satellite dish for as long as I am with bell, free internet for 3 months and discounts on TV bill for 2 years on top of what I save every month due to bundling.

Bell is so much better than Rogers.
I disconnected Rogers TV, home phone (sucks), and Internet (throttling P2P) and continuing with Bell for 3 years now.

I don't know about you, but I see nothing that I can possibly hate in Tron legacy based on the trailers so far. Unlike Avatar, I think this movie has a lot of story too.

I am definitely watching this in IMAX 3D with my family. Thats 4 tickets + theater food + parking (best theater is in downtown unfortunately)
That's easily $100 from my wallet for this movie :p

What are you guys talking about.

Everyone here knows how good Disney is at marketing. I know about this movie like over a year ago from now, the last time that happened for a non-franchise movie was Avatar. I don't consider Tron as a franchise yet since the gap between the movies is too much. Ya, I know its a sequel but I am pretty sure 50% of the people watching the movie won't have time to watch the old movie. I watched the trailer for the old movie and I was like, "I am not watching this crap" ... so for me Tron: Legacy will be the first Tron movie I will be watching.

Anyways, eventually by December 2nd week I am pretty sure everyone will know about this movie. Disney is huge in merchandising as well, imagine the number of toys it could sell and how much more they can sell if this movie turns out to be a franchise as Disney is hoping for, considering the fact that it will be a success.

Tron: Legacy is guaranteed to make over $60 million on the first weekend.

wth ... I have heard numerous articles stating that the original Titanic will be converted into 3D, in the so called James Cameron's genius way of 3D conversion, who recently ridiculed Clash of the Titans (WB) for their sloppy 3D conversion which they did in 2 weeks or so.

Now, you are saying they are making a sequel. I don't think its a sequel ... please confirm if you find any further info on this.

Booked four advance IMAX tickets for this movie. Knowing how much attention Nolan gives to perfection of video and audio quality along with the story, I think IMAX is the best way to watch this movie (although it is not 3D and has not been shot with IMAX Cameras like The Dark Knight)

lol ... the first one sucked and I sure this one will be even worse.

I was laughing at parts while watching the first one. This movie isn't even close to being scary.

The Fourth Kind was actually better than this ... not sure why it didn't get the same attention as Paranormal Activity.

Thanks ... people like me need to see a trailer to get impressed about a movie before we go out and spend $18 to watch in IMAX theater.

I am satisfied with all the trailers I have seen so far and now I know that it is worth watching in theaters.

I can't just see the name "Nolan" and confirm that it will be a good movie.

This movie is going to be awesome and no matter how good inception is, i find it hard to get my friends interested in that concept.

Toy story is guaranteed to be the biggest hit of 2010 :)

I am glad that it is also releasing in IMAX 3D ... I can't wait to see this on the big screen and knowing how great Disney/Pixar is, the quality on IMAX 3D will be excellent too.

I am not at all worried about how the story will be .... as it's from PIXAR :D

Great ... thanks a lot for this trailer.
Now I know something about this movie. To be honest, the concept of this movie (dreams) is so interesting that I have to check it out and that's the main reason I would watch this and of course the other reason is Nolan

Now, I have a reason to watch this in IMAX :)

lol ... Ice Age is fun, I don't mind watching it again.
If we could see Shrek 4, why not Ice Age 4 and that too 3D :)

I just noticed that Ice Age 3 made more money at the box office than Shrek 3.
The weird thing is Shrek 3 made 40% of it's box office total in USA and Canada while Ice Age 3 made just 22% from domestic boxoffice. It made almost $700 million from overseas and the overseas collections have only been increasing for every ice age movie. I wouldn't be surprised if Ice Age 4 makes a $1 billion worldwide. Fox just keeps getting richer, and it probably has Avatar 2 planned around 2013
