That Chinese "aircraft carrier" is a joke. It can only put a few aircraft in the air at a time, and since it lacks catapults, the planes it launches have to be light on both weapons and fuel. Plus the power plant is hideous and breaks down such that a tug had better be nearby at all times. Even a slothful military like Taiwan's need have no fear of this old rust bucket. Oh, and the living conditions for the crew are horrible; this old bucket is not suited for long deployments. A few airfields are a much more practical way to launch aircraft than this silly old bucket.

The US Navy did not blocade any Japanese ports prior to 12.7.41. Don't know where you heard that, but it is completely untrue. The US did suspend exports of oil and certain other strategic war materials to Japan in late 1941 as a result of Japanese aggression in China and Indochina. That is hardly a blocade.

Global warming is probably the biggest fraud since Socialism. There is literally no evidence for it, and the Global Warmists have repeatedly been caught fudging and faking their numbers. What Global Warmists are doing is not science and these people are not scientists.
Earth recently emerged from the Little Ice Age and has been accordingly slightly warming since 1875-1900, when the emergence from the Little Ice Age began. Some warming is to be expected and is desirable. If these people knew any science they would know this, and would not (as they do) contend that somehow the period from say, 1920-1960 represents some kind of Global optimum, which cannot be deviated from.
In reality, warming of the climate has always represented times of greater human prosperity with better harvests and so forth. Colder times such as the Little Ice Age have brought famine and depression. These Global Warmists are idiots and Leftists, but I repeat myself.
