In my case it was also 2 men wearing similar clothing but we were brutally attacked while still in bed by base ball bats I sustained a fractured wrist, a fractured arm, cracked ribs, and a horrific head injury, My boyfriend wasnt so lucky, his hand was crushed into 1,000 pieces of bone, he recieved a compound fracture to his tibia that left the bone protruding out the other side, and head injuries as well. The 40 minutes of terror seemed to last an eternity as I was tied up tazered all with my 10 year old son, his life also being threatened, looked on. Upon further investagation done by me since the police labeled it not a random act, I found that this was the 3rd home invasion robbery on my street in the month of December. Also upon reading the police reports I found that while the police were driving up to the scene a suspcious vehicle was coming from what seemed to be the scene, the police turned on lights and turned around to stop the vehicle as it did so the vehicle sped up turned off its lights and dipped into a driveway. The officer then gave up persuit and returned to the scene. Considering I live on a dead end street and none of the driveways have outlets that wouldnt seem to me like proper percedure. Also the perps used my credit card at 2 gas stations with survailence and it was recorded the police refuse to look at the footage, they are not investagating a stolen credit card this is the violent crimes division I was told, the case was closed I believe before my boyfriend or i were even wheeled out to the ambulances. <br>I think its safe to say that, "a stitch in time saves nine," ben franklin.
