I think the firefighters and police officers are underpaid as it is, they are the fabric that holds our cities and towns together. I feel the unions are the ones who have stepped over the boundaries over whats fair and what is not.
Give the fireman a break, when you smell smoke in your home, I bet you will be the first one to say, who cares about the overtime, just be there when I need you.

The fingerpointing has to stop somewhere, so it has to stop today, Barry should grow a pair and figure out that this isn't community organizing, this is our country he is messing with. So all the bows to kings and all the butt kissing of the Europeans will only go so far. I don't think he ever produced the birth certificate by the way. I can smell impeachment in the air, wow, that means we have Biden as our President.....it sounds like a SciFi channel episode.

When is the public going to realize that they elected this boob, the "stimulus money" is not stimulus at all, it is controlled welfare, only its like throwing bait into a shark tank. Here is your crumbs, not fight over it.
It saddens me to think the country didn't put enough thought into their vote when they went to the polls in November.

Just what the city needs is another money hungry family and lawyer involved because of a scraped elbow, next thing you know they will be banning dodge ball from the gym curriculum......oh yeah, they did that already. Way to go parents, lets utilize our children for ways of producing a cash flow. It was an accident with no bloodshed, get over it. I think S Lo needs to get involved in this case, she will get to the bottom of it all.

I am sure that other authors who are now in education have penned questionable publishings and were hired and never fied because of it. I think the LPS should look at this case and throw it out due to freedom of speech.
I guess LPS doesn't believe in freedom of speech unless its the speech only they want to hear. I think they call that the beginning of Socialism, welcome to ObamaLand.
Our freedoms are ending as we know it, lets vote another moonbat in office.

To investigate this Mickey Mouse garbage any further is just a waste of the taxpayers money, but as long as the teachers union are in the pants of the democrats, these things will go on forever. As I stated in other postings, S Lo is the only person who will not cave to union demands and that will get the LPS running like a top, clean house and get S Lo in there.

I am sure after making such a big deal about Beth Gannon's book, people will be running out to buy it. So she is grateful for the free publicity. I guess the thought police are out in full force. I am sure there are other things that some people in the LPS aren't so proud of. Beth Gannon chose to write a book, maybe not on a subject her peers would like, but it wasn't written for her peers. Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Speech, I guess those rights dont't apply to the LPS.

The problem with unions is they hide behind their contracts to do subpar work. So the laborers get paid the same whether they do excellent work or they do a lousy job or just show up. Thats how unions have ruined this country.

I agree with Dan, I have lived in Andover for quite some time, I was not from here, heck I am not even from Mass. but when I hear the garbage spewed by people like Jackie Goreham, it makes me cringe. She came from Southie, which is a fine community, but when people move to a place like Andover, they seem to forget that at one time they walked amongst the panhandlers and drunks. They are just people like you and I who made poor choices in life, God will find them and put them on a different track. God will also heal the heart of Jackie Goreham. I support Laboy and his decision, whether its for a good cause or not, that play is not appropriate to be linked to the LPS system. Couldn't they find another production to put on for the same good cause or does the title interest people for its shock value. Laboy is a good and kind man who has a heart for God. Instead of tearing him down, people should pray that he turns everything around.

People seem to be more upset by the fact that this nitwit was earning $66K per year, all comments seem to bring that up. The act was just as heinous if he was a volunteer. What this guy did was a completely illegal and it should be dealt with as such. also to blame Laboy for this is jumping the gun a bit. But as the leader of the LPS, he must be dealt with as well, but not fired or suspended.
