Back in the early 1970s I was a member of PhotoPool at the University of Connecticut. We shot for the school yearbook. Of course back then it was all film. The club owned quite a few Pentax Spotmatics, some RolleiCords and a few other cameras, an a GREAT darkroom facility.

One time one of our members was shooting a UConn basketball game using a Mamiya TLR. This was back before most anyone even knew UConn played basketball, although the game was televised in-state. He was crouching down over the viewfinder and didn't notice the ref coming at him. He told us his dad saw the ref go down when he ran into him and congratulate him on the nice block on the ref.

Re: The 3D Printed Gun – All You Need to Know Right Now

One risk of 3D printed (plastic) guns which is not discussed is their invisibility to metal detectors. In the 1993 movie "In the Line of Fire" the villain makes a plastic two shot pistol out of cast resin, and hides the springs, firing pins and bullets in a keychain, in order to get through security in an attempt to assassinate the president of the US.

Re: Will iOS and macOS continue individually? With all the other interior detail the seatbelts should be there. I can get racing harness parts on the aftermarket, but I've searched high and low for lap and shoulder street seatbelt hardware. Since there are subtle differences between cars, it would be great if the kit manufacturer would include a few more plastic/photo etched parts.

Re: Scale Model News: 1:48 SCALE SOYUZ TMA SPACECRAFT FROM LVM STUDIOS

The link to the company's web site is incorrect and goes to an architectural firm. I've been quite happy with the similar looking Yongnuo YN-560 family, along with their inexpensive RF remotes. The flashes are slightly more expensive and aren't TTL compatible, but the remotes are way cheaper than pocket wizards. The newer models support remote control of power and zoom, using either a Mk IV flash as a commander, or the $45 YN-560TX, which is like an RF version of the Nikon SU-800.

The $70 Mk IV flash supports groups. The Mk III, which also lists for $70, but lacks the commander function and appears to be available for less, possibly on close-out.

Both of these flashes incorporate the RF transceiver, there is also an older Mk II, which is $60, but requires a separate RF-603 transceiver which is about $30 for a pair, and doesn't support remote zoo/power, or group selection. I started with a Mk II and the RF-603, and added a Mk III and YN-560TX when they came out.

The result is a poor mans version of the Nikon CLS, minus TTL, but with RF rather than IR wireless, so better range and no need for line of sight.

Re: How to properly use “Likes” in Apple Music

I'm confused what is happening when I'm listening to Beats1.

If I click on the song title I get a screen with a cover picture for the song, which also has the heart.
