Russell is in trouble tonight, y'all. If you're a Russell fan you guys better vote hard.

Russell had to perform BOTH routines with assistants because Ash was injured. Even though he did well, he's probably the guy in the most trouble. Ryan evidently cried HARD and urged people to vote for Ash, so you know he and Ash will get the sympathy votes. Legacy and Jakob already have huge fan bases. Which means the odd man out is Russell.

Russell fans do not be lulled into a sense of security tonight. If you don't vote for Russell he's going home on Wednesday.

I really liked Peter's solo. I wish Pauline had billed herself as a hip-hop dancer and actually danced hip-hop in her solos. She would have stood out more.

Actually, I think Josh said early on that he has had some training, but the show seemed to want to only play up his hip-hop background.

I think the reason why you thing Josh is doing tricks for no reason is because he's a freestyler (or that's that I think he's doing). The nature of freestyling is to show off what you can do on the fly.

Now, as far as Nap/Tab I have criticized them to no end regarding their hip-hop lite choreo. And the Chelsie/Twitch routine was light, but there were popping moves that Nap/Tab put in the routine that Chelsie was supposed to hit hard on the beat. She totally missed those moves. And I mean TOTALLY. She missed the same moves in her NapTab routine with Mark. And no one ever says anything.

She's just so soft it's bad in hip-hop (coming from a hip-hop fan). It's disrespectful to say she dances it great. Honestly, I've seen cheerleaders on ESPN who dance it better than her.

But, to expect fairness out of this show is a bit silly on my part. But, sometimes you just have to say something. ;)

Wow, Chelsie's hip-hop is so weak. It kinda makes me mad that she never really gets called out on it, while others who have danced outside of their genre were screamed at and told that they have to step it up to compete on this show.

This is one of the reasons why I feel like hip-hop is totally disrespected on this show. As long as non-hip hop dancers do the routine it's good enough.

Okay, sorry for the lecture, but that's just ridiculous. Chelsie should be critiqued like everyone else when she's outside her genre. Her hip-hop is soft, she doesn't hit the beats hard, and it looks to me that Nap/Tab don't even choreo much hip-hop for her to dance too. Possibly because she can't.

I'm split between S2 and S3. I feel like S2 had the best performers, but S3 had the best technicians (also, S3 had Danny who was HOTT- hehehe, I still have a crush on him). S1 would technically be third place behind S2/S3. S4 is my least fave, I think.

Actually, I know S4 if my least fave because I'm not going to the tour this year and I've been to both of the previous tours. :(

Le Sigh. What happened this season? I was so excited for the show (as I always am- I've been watching since Season 1). But, this season, it was like the producers/judges were intent on destroying it.

I understand that people didn't like the Will pimping (although I don't agree on voting because of what the stupid judges said). I liked Will, but there were times where I thought Jessica out danced him (particularly in their hip-hop), but the judges never acknowledged that. They eliminated Marquis for doing "tricks" when that's all Neil did last season. Chris never got a chance and Thayne never really got praised until he got kicked off. And of course you have the universal hatred of Comfort. Even when she did well or showed improvement she was still put down.

I just don't understand. This season had so much potential. But, it's quickly becoming my least favorite season ever. All because I think there was little respect for the dancers, and quite frankly, the audience.

I believe 4 Real was something started by Josh, Twitch, maybe Will, to show solidarity for Comfort when she dislocated her shoulder at the beginning of the season. But, then the whole cast jumped on board and now it's like a slogan for the season. Like season 4 is For/Four Real.

Correct me somebody if I'm wrong.

I had no idea people thought Will's audition was pretentious. I didn't even remember it until you brought it up again. And, reflecting back on it, I thought it was different (I like different).

Well, I agree with you blank. The show wants the jack of all trades. But, I think when all you go after (or attract) is the Jack/Jill of all trades you actually lose quality.

As you said you can't be great at ballroom and then try to be equally great at hip-hop. But you can be mediocre at both.

I fear the show is going to attract only the mediocre in the future.

Dang, Sue, you really need to lay off Comfort. Comfort is a great dancer. She's a specialist just like other specialists. Was Gregory Hines a bad dancer because he didn't do contemporary? Was Baryshnikov a bad dancer because he didn't do ballroom?

Just because a dancer is not a jack of all trades, does not mean they cannot be "tremendous" at what they do. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, but I think you're kind of being disrespectful to Comfort. I don't think Will should have left tonight, but I would never put down Mark because of it.

Let's have some respect for the skill and talent of all the dancers.

I really don't think Will didn't get votes because of his audition way back in May. I do think Will didn't get votes for the second reason you stated and the same reason that many others have stated- people didn't vote for Will to spite Nigel.

But, I think that's kind of silly because a) that's not Will's fault and b) the only way to truly spite Nigel is to not watch the show. It's futile not to vote for someone because Nigel likes them. Then the only person you're hurting is the dancer. Nigel will ALWAYS win because you're watching the show.

That's just my opinion.

Agree, Ms. A. There have been professional or near professional dancers on the show before. Why should the rules be changed now?

Actually, I think this show has lost most of its credibility with the great technical dancers of all genres. It's clear this season that the great ballroom dancers are not interested in trying out for the show anymore (sorry, but Chelsie isn't even in the same league as Benji, Artem, Dimitry, Heidi, Lacey, Anya, Pasha). The best hip-hop dancers know that they are not welcome as the judges and Ameriker don't really value hip-hop as an art. And now the best Contemporary dancers know that their skills are not really appreciated.

It's sad because I fear that this show reached its peak with finding the best possible dancers last season. I hope that's not true, but I'm starting to think some of the better dancers are not interested in auditioning for the show anymore.

Yeah, but I don't think people should be voting based on Nigel. Will can't control Nigel. He can only go out and do his job.

People should vote on who is their favorite dancer. Not vote to spite Nigel, who by the way is making millions off of your spite anyways. Nigel really could care less about any point the audience is trying to prove to him. As long as the audience is watching, Nigel wins.

This is why I stopped listening to the judges and just started watching the dancers. The judges don't have to influence me on who to vote for if I don't want them too.

While I think that all the dancers have had missteps and deserve criticism, Will really didn't deserve to go home tonight. Especially for a silly reason like sucking it to Nigel.

But, mileage may vary.

Well, I'm late, but just to add my two cents...

This is the saddest elimination ever. I knew Comfort was going to leave, but my heart still breaks for her because she was treated like crap by the judges and a large part of the vocal viewing public during her entire run on the show. As always she acted with so much more class then many of the people criticizing her. She's a great dancer and I'm fairly certain we'll see her dancing on tour with some major R&B or hip-hop artist.

At this point any of the guys leaving would have hurt. But, Will hurt a lot. I actually enjoyed his James Brown-esque solo and thought it was something different we have never seen on the show. But, there can only be one winner I guess. it just hurts to see Will leave. But, it would have hurt to see Twitch leave too. So sad. :(

Anyways, Joshua or Katee for the win.

Still, I'm so sad. :(

Well, whoever choreographed it, I have to say that IMO it was the best routine this season. Group routine, or couple routine, or solo, it was just the best I've seen this season. It's the only routine this season that I'm actually keeping on my Tivo so I can record it to a DVD.

Of course, this is just my opinion. :)

Voting for Katee and Comfort. And will probably throw in some votes for others (Josh, Will, etc.).
