They should find a light-skinned actress to play the part. I know it won't be easy. There are not many in Hollywood. But try to be true to history. Katherine is light-skinned. Maybe Ms. Henson can play Mary McCloud Bethune. A great Black female also.

Katherine is very light-skinned. Could pass for Caucasian. How is Taraji going to play her? I love Ms Henson's work but she is not the right complexion to play this particular part. I am a light-skinned female. Why are we always being put down because we are light-skinned? We exist in this world too even though folks don't like it. Very unfair. We are treated by dark-skinned people how dark-skinned people say they are treated by Caucasian people! Like we don't exist!
