Loved your take on that moment as well.  I seriously wonder if the writer's threw that in as a joke for us viewers, much like on Roseanne when the original Becky returned after a 2-year hiatus and Darlene asks, "Where have you been?"&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm sure Don's French napkin and the rag on Paul's desk would have a lot to talk about.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And loved the outrage from Bert, Freddy, and Duck that Lois is still employed. Loved the parts with Joan and Pete at Bonwit and can't believe that subtext didn't occur to me as I was watching it.
