As for a Senior Product Manager, we don't have a survey for a role like that yet, but stay tuned! New salaries will be posted as they come available.

Thanks!
Kara

Re: Extreme Startups to Host Inaugural Demo Day on June 19

For some inside details about ShopLocket check out our recent interview with Andrew and Dan! http://www.redcanary.ca/com...

Re: Kitchener-Waterloo Predicts the End of RIM’s Reign [SURVEY RESULTS]

Thanks for the comment!

We're always happy to showcase the great Ontario start-ups that are out there, and TribeHR is definitely one of them. For some jobs, experience can be the wrong metric. If the job calls for someone to work in a new/emerging market, then experience is less important. Some people go to work for 20 years and accomplish very little. Others can make an impact in a matter of months. Successful leaders err on the side of accomplishment over tenure. If people have done well to date, then chances are good that they'll continue to do so.

And when you're looking for a good employer, look for the ones that will hire you for your potential, not just your past.

Re: Product Management Survey and Work | Life results! - Red Canary

Total respondents for Product Management was 223. That's a little misleading however, in that some respondents didn't give a salary, and some didn't give a location, and some gave a salary and not much else.

Re: Top 10 programming languages of the future - Red Canary

F# should be there, you're right. Only votes that had five identical selections, plus one or two oddballs that had four and were from the same ip and with a very close time stamp. The raw data is there if you want to see what I mean.

Re: Hot Starts Results - Red Canary

Sorry, yes, it is a bit harsh, but what you couldn't see is that the IP addresses for most of the 'stuffers' were the same. ProductWiki has a valid case in that your votes (mostly) didn't fall into that category, but we couldn't let this to be a popularity contest either. The fact that very few people even chose the same company three (never mind five) times told me that those fan votes were not objective. It's not perfect, but it's as fair as I could make it.

Re: A great online resume is more than just a resume (and I'll prove it) - Red Canary

I think that would depend very much on the age of the clicker. Something like 50% of employers now do an online background (read: social network) check, and that would definitely involve some clicking. My guess is that most tech HR people would click. Also, you need to consider the chance that the resume is passed to a hiring manager. If you're linking to something that's salient to the role, it's going to get clicked.

Re: Hot Starts in Waterloo - Red Canary

Don't worry we've got that covered : )

Re: One Red Question: How Secure do you Feel in your J-O-B? However, I think the reality is that word-of-mouth (the organic unsolicited kind, not this 'conversuasion' nonsense), has always been powerful, and now it's played out at the speed of social networking.

What is increasingly true for marketers is that they are simply not able to do much beyond first contact. Or, as advertising legend David Ogilvy put it, "I can sell a bad product, but only once".

Re: How to create a headhunter-proof organization - Red Canary

Or you could read the interview with the Co-founder and CTO right here ; )

http://www.redcanary.ca/vie...

Re: Comverse: Director of Development - Red Canary

Never mind, the job has been removed.

Re: Comverse: Director of Development - Red Canary

Hi Vanessa, this job is dated from March, so it is very likely filled.
