No. It's to point out that the fatalities would be much higher if the city wasn't prepared by both planning for tragedy, and also planning for the event itself, and that other cities probably aren't as well equipped to handle a situation like the patriot's day bombings and other cities should get ready.

If this happened in [Insert Other Major Metropolitan Area Here] would they have been as well equipped? If not, there citizen's should get the city to prepare before there next event with a mass of people gathering.

you swapped the processors 500T has the Atom, the 700T has the Core i5.

Its not there first Tablet at this size. the Galaxy Tab was and it was launched over a year ago. It was then re-branded the "Galaxy Tab 7.0" after the Galaxy 7.7 was announced to distinguish the two. The one above is the Galaxy 7.0 Plus. Because it is the Second Generation Galaxy 7.0. So this is the second offering at this size and price point.

The last use of it was/is on some Nokia Tablets, but they replaced the OS with the "Access Linux Platform" which looks like it might be open source and has a Garnet OS Emulator.

Not really sure how open that "Access Linux Platform" is, if at all. But if it is replacing the old Palm OS, it makes a good case for opening that up.

I don't think that Palm owns the Palm OS (Garnet OS), Palm spun of the OS group to make PalmSource. PalmSource was later Bought out by ACCSESS.

That is a misleading comment. you posted the list price of one and the discounted price of the other just to prove your point.

The Black 8GB Flip UltraHD on Amazon is $140, the White is $130 so for $210 or $200 you can get the Flip UltraHD and the Mikey. Making it a $120/$130...So you can buy two White Flip UltraHD's and one High Quality Mic for the cost of the Canon VIXIA HF R100.

But list price to list price...the Flip UltraHD is $200 per, and The Canon VIXIA HF R100 is $500 per. So you could still buy 2 Flip UltraHDs and one Mikey for the same or less.

So if you need to do something where Video Quality doesn't need to be as high, but you have two people doing the filming and a tight budget...the Flipcams make more sense. which I could see for some podcasts who need to go mobile on the cheap. Think of covering the next iPhone launch for your podcast. One guy being filmed for the audio, the other doing crowd shots that will be dubbed over later, or two angles where you'll only use the audio from one. I think this product paired with the flip cam make sence for the Pro-sumer Podcaster.

Tim's right, in the context he wrote that phrase hes talking about power to the wheels. If any power to the wheels was provided by the engine then it would be a hybrid. The Volt is an Electric car with a supplied gas-powered generator. It would be the same thing as buying a Tesla and putting a gas-generator in the passenger seat for when the batteries run low. In the context of what was written, it makes sense.

I've had one for a while now, its called a roku. I also get MLB.TV, Netflix, Pandora, Amazon VoD, TWiT.TV, Revision3, Ect.

Here is novel Idea, you need the fifteen bucks United? just charge fifteen bucks more for the ticket. People won't feel as bad paying 5-10% more for a ticket they will attribute it to things like gas, inflation, business doing badly, all sorts of things. Going from $150 to $165 isn't that big a deal.

Going from zero dollars to fifteen dollars makes people do stupid things and try to save that cash.

Just charge the fifteen buck, some people won't even check a bag...you just made more money on them. Also you can charge me five more bucks if it means I get get a real snack again.
