ok this should my final question haha lets see what you can do with this one stray mongrel so i get the patching in now and i go to restore with the custom fw but all it does is take hella days saying preparing to restore ipod then an error message that says error 604 whats this about????

how do i tell it to complete directory for i know i spelled everything right because i just drag the folder over containing iRecovery. (assuming i do the same for the IBSS i just drag and drop after entering -f then press enter but i still get the error that -f is not a command any ideas on what i have done wrong?

when i try to do this step i just cant get it to upload ibss 2.2.1 i get it to the point where im using irecovery but then it says to do -f <insert location="" of="" 2.1.1="" ibss="" here=""> how do i do this it says -f is not a command.......

6) Upload 2.1.1 iBSS, from an extracted 2.1.1 IPSW. To do this, cd to wherever iRecovery is located and run iRecovery.exe -f <insert location="" of="" 2.1.1="" ibss="" here=""> After uploading the iBSS you need to unplug for ten seconds and plug it back in. (Thanks, Conic!)

Can someone please help me with this step i cant get it to work....... i do the whole process but when i get to here im confused on how to -f and insert location of 2.1.1 ibss

the fact that you havnt reset your ipod doesnt matter because once you jb your ipod you reboot all the time because most apps from cydia and installer require you to reboot your ipod

Thank you so much for continuing to work on the jb even though everyone thought the iphonedt was going to be releasing a jb very soon.

but could you please just release the tethered version along with a tutorial vid to help the noobs jb this would be very awesome i for one dont mind rebooting and repatching every time. =))))

that doesnt matter you have to reboot almost every time you install an app from cydia or installer.
