The first night went great, but I forgot how much exercise bellydancing can be! I was actually a bit achy afterward! LOL

The teacher is fabulous--so sweet and down-to-earth. It seems like a nice group in the class, too. I'll let you know about how it progresses. I love bellydancing. :-D

XOXOXO

Re: Baked Rice and Veggies

Thanks so much, Cotton! I recommend the peppermint oil over the others if you are only going to sample one of the flavors. It's my absolute favorite!

Jim took the pics and posted the recipe, so I'll be sure to let him know you enjoyed it. I made this just a bit ago and I wanted to add a quick note:

If you don't have enough cashews (that was my case), or you don't like to consume a lot of them, add dried raw coconut flakes as a thickener! That's what I did and it was even more amazing than with just the cashews in it! It tasted a lot more tropical and fresh!

YUM!!!

XOXOXO

Re: Thankful Thursday: Internet

Thanks so much, Joanna!!! Yes, the recipe is still raw! It just *tastes* like it's baked! Since you aren't a raw foodists, you could probably try it to see if you like it uncooked and if not, you can lightly cook it. If you try it, let me know!

Lots of love to you!

Wendi

Re: Makin’ It Monday: Orange Pudding

Destiny, You will LOVE this orange pudding because I know you love fruit so much! As for the whole wheat pasta, I don't eat pasta. However, since you love sweet bell peppers, a good topping would be lightly stir-fried bell peppers (or raw, if you like them that way!) with some garlic, olive oil, salt, and maybe some Italian seasonings. Ooh! And a few fresh tomatoes would be good, too! Experiment until you like the taste of what you are creating and then write it down! You'll be your own personal chef if you keep trying new things on your own!

Lots of love to you!

Aunt Wendi

Re: Apple Cider Vinegar: Panacea or Toxin?

Hi, Ann! I may just do the banana, cinnamon, and ginger because it sounds so good to me. Jim, however, wouldn't eat it--he's a picky eater and doesn't like bananas unless they are disguised in something. I LOVE bananas! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. We narrowed our choices down to a few places that have clean air and lots of sunshine: Fort Collins, Colorado; parts of New Mexico; parts of Arizona; parts of California; and parts of Florida.

It's a lot of work searching for places that have clean air, sunshine, and progressive-thinking communities. It's a must that wherever we move there are other raw foodists and those who unschool their children. So, that narrows our choices down to only a few places in the US.

Lots of love to you,

Wendi
XOXO
