Here are some shots with a mobile. They're nothing special as they are still setting up the scenes (early in the day here). Would have gotten more but was getting the "eye" from one of the security guards (though some of the crew members got a kick out of my enthusiasm...lol). The shots consist of some houses that will be featured in the movie (I guess it takes place in other cities outside of Honolulu) and a shot of the Studio monster truck.

It was mentioned that future earth would play a bigger role in the films so perhaps the live action shots will center around this aspect of the film.

I was just looking into this and it was stated that Pixar is not doing the cgi for the film. So I wonder who will. Sure it will not be Weta or ILM as their hands are full right now, but you never know.

Not that far from my place!! Wonder how long they will be shooting there? I've ran into a lot of traffic and road blocks as of late going down Wilshire (toward Western) due to various filming. Not sure for what movie though.

I was thinking the same thing. However he should call it "The Navi" to keep with his "A" and "T" movie titles...lol. On second thought maybe the movie title should be...in Navi! Starting with a "T" or "A" of course.

Yeah I kind of like the "spin off" idea as well. It has worked well with Star Trek ( centering on other characters) very well. The Star Wars universe is big enough for it.
As for the T.V. show, what is that all about? You know they should or could tell the story taking place between episodes 3-4. Correct me if I am wrong but that is like a twenty year gap or so with many questions yet to be answered.

I have nothing against conversion if it is done well and with time. Unlike some recent titles where it was a rush job. Being that they did shoot Native on part of the film meant they knew what they were going for during production and 3-D was not simply an after thought, besides some stunts would mess up a 3-D camera and those things are expensive!!

I am so glad there is a native 3d movie out now. Tired of sloppy conversions. I will probably see this movie. Used to watch these guys back in college...that's all I am saying!
