Same thing with BJP i guess. Congress is in the boold of many, right from the days of independance and before. BJP has to be, say, 50 times better than congress to be able to come to power. Indeed it's sad, but hey, we are talking about a country where corruption is no issue. A little bit of drama, charishma and yes...a little bit re-looking-at-the-strategy would help BJP immensly.

Re: My Pilgrimage trip to Shirdi : Learnt the importance of Religious Tourism

Good point about people willing to pay Rs.250 for a Pizza and still crib and cry over Rs.10 extra for a taxi.
But Randheer, your last point about Congress focusing on enhancing skills of the suppressed classes....if congress is being elected over a period time by our own people, surely there must be "something" in them which BJP lacks? I am not trying to criticize you but I am just saying that could it possible that the majority of the voters are fooled over a period of time by congress?

Re: My Business Trip to Tel-Aviv,Israel : Rediscovering Myself, Part 3

Randheer, in your previous post you were mentioning about a young women in the bus who had some sort of a gun around her neck...I think Israel can afford to keep young men and women as Airport security officers because they train their youngsters as security officers while in India we train them (sadly) right from age of 10 for IIT's/IIM's :(

I must say that I would be very impressed if I find pleasant looking security guards who deal with security issues efficiently while still being hospitable to the travelers, unlike our pot bellied police men.

Very good point about women in India. Its always good to be all-rounders than being home-bound all the time. I am not suggesting that every lady should be like women in Ayn Rands books, but having financial independence is the key.

One question though, why are all the tests (x-rays etc) done while people are returning? Shouldnt it be the other way round?
