I feel as if this so-called "farewell" to the site, which is more of a farewell to reading the books merits a reply of substance. Sort of a reminiscence of my time reading your site, Kaleb.

I must admit, I was not a fan of Kaleb form the very beginning. I knew about him long before I ever read his posts. I clearly remember when I used to read the Twilight Lexicon, every so often it would say "Caleb, the Twilight Guy has read chapter 10 of Twilight and has blogged his summary of it!" or whatever they said (I do remember them spelling your name wrong at least a few times). I would always dismiss it and say "Pish posh! I bet it's just some stupid person writing a blah blah boring summary!".

It wasn't until the summer of 2008, when Kaleb was somewhere in New Moon (I'm always debating with myself precisely when in NM is was) that I decided to give it a go. I started reading at the beginning and found myself laughing more than I probably should have. I remember I read all of Kaleb's posts as fast as I can, probably in a day or two. After that, I would check daily for new chapter updates.

I remember when I first went to Kaleb's BlogTV. It's laughable compared to his more recent BlogTVs. There was probably no more than 70 people there. I really miss Kaleb's earlier BlogTVs. They were much different than the ones nowadays. I feel he had more freedom. He could talk more about non Twilight and Bran things, but as the fandom evolves the BlogTV must too. I remember the first contest, oh that was hilarious. For all y'all who weren't there, this was before he did Twitter contests. Kaleb had had everyone open a private chat with him and whichever number had won a t-shirt. Haha, good times.

I feel like I'm talking as if Kaleb has died, which he obviously hasn't. Although Twilight Guy isn't gone into the abyss, part of it has nonetheless. Kaleb's finished reading the books. And those books and Kaleb reading them has been a part of me. And, while Kaleb himself and the website will continue on, his reading of the books has been completed. And it's honestly a bit sad. And an ending calls for new beginnings. And new beginnings, for me, require I look back at the past. Which is exactly what I'm doing.

Since I became a fan of Kaleb and TwilightGuy, I've made so many friends. I've gotten into humorous situations and full-fledged arguments. I've made best friends and worst enemies. I've laughed and I've hurt and I just want to thank Kaleb for all of it. My time as a TwilightGuy reader, the past, the present, and the future of it, will never be forgotten as long as I live. TwilightGuy will forever be a part of me, even if the books have been closed. It's wonderful that you have chosen to continue the website. I wasn't anticipating it, with Bran Hambric already on many bookstore shelves and you moving ahead in your life.

Kaleb, you started something amazing in the Twilight fandom. You began something that attracted thousands of readers. In this world, everyone has a chance at being known. You've exceeded the norm with TwilightGuy. You've transformed your fandom of TwilightGuy readers into your own nation of BranFans (I really just had to use the word "nation," teehee). And I feel that calls for a congratulations.

In short, I just want to thank you, Kaleb. Thank you for all the things you've done so far and all the things you will do in the future. With this site, you've made more of an impact on my life than you can imagine. I also feel as if I'm acting as if the site is over, which it's not. I'm just writing what comes to my head, and I doubt you're still reading it by now. If you are: damn. And I don't know what else to say. I'm looking forward to the future posts and I still just want to thank you.

Great BlogTV yesterday, Kaleb. I had just gotten home from a sleepover like an hour before it started and had no idea there was gonna be one, but I made it in time and got main room. Yay. And I just realised, I made my friend a twitter sometime during the sleepover and had her follow you. Whoa. She could have been the 10,000th follower. That would be epic.

Well, the way you phrase the question seems like you're making it seem like Jake had a choice, which obviously he didn't. But it's like uber pedobear for him to imprint on a baby. Like, I get that it isn't romantic at all, not yet, but still. Plus, the Cullens will have to have a stinky werewolf lounging around forever. Yuck. And I feel that the whole imprinting idea in general takes the choice out of Renesmee's hands. I mean, it's practically an arranged marriage! I mean, if the imprintee was older, I dunno, it makes me feel like she'd have more choice. I mean, with Sam and Emily it's more like a more normal relationship. I mean, they meet and fall in love and get married. With people like Jake and Renesmee or Quil and Claire, the imprintee has known their whole life that they're going to be with the imprinter. So, is it alright that Jake imprinted on Nessie? Not in my opinion, but I don't like the idea of imprinting anyway.

Plus, the whole fact that Jake was in love with Bella for like a two years doesn't make it easier on Nessie. I mean, how would you, Kaleb, feel if you discovered that your hypothetical girlfriend once was madly in love with your dad. I think we should get that raising-eyebrows-awkward-picture out again.

Almost awkward, like we're wearing Hawaiian shirts and denim shorts while everyone else is in business suits. I guess we'll have to get used to seeing your name like that. And why does Borders list Bran as being released Sept. 1st?

Well, I can't say that I could ever be a vegetarian vampire. I have zero self control. So, odds are I'd have a lovely feast of human. I would hope though, that if I by some twist of fate was turned into a vampire, I would realize that humans are humans and I shouldn't kill them. But for the first few years, probably an all human diet (I promise: I'll try not to kill children or babies).

Good question Kaleb. And, in truth, I have no good answer for it. If you asked me the same question, say, a year ago, I'd be like "Of course it is". Now I'm less certain. I think it all has to do with the circumstances.

If you were to take me as I was now, and ask me if I'd rather go on living my life as it is or undergo the pain of a zillion deaths and become immortal, I think I might choose life. Because, honestly, I don't want to be stuck with these 15 year old hormones for eternity. And besides, why would I want to be alone for eternity? Now, let's say I'm older, say mid 20s, I'm married and perhaps have a child. Given the same option, life or transformation, I'm damn well going to choose life. How rude would it to be to be like "Oh hi honey, yeah, why don't you just pretend I'm dead because I'd rather live forever than be with you" (of course, you'd never tell them that, but that's not the point). Now, let's say said vampire who desires to change me is a romantic interest of sorts. I think that in this situation, the answer changes. But, just like nobody wants to be stuck with a tattoo that says "Mary <3s John 4 ever" after Mary breaks up with John, I'd probably make sure I'm 100% sure about my feelings for said vampire before I go through this uber permanent change.

I guess in my opinion, it's not about the pain. I think that it's more about happiness. Because, honestly, if it would make me happy, I'd go through weeks of pain to ensure my happiness.

As for the question, he'd definitely be able to leave her. That's the whole thing with imprinting. Remember how Leah and Sam were in love? Then Sam imprinted on Emily? Now Sam doesn't hold romantic feelings towards Leah. The same thing would happen to Jake. Let's say Jake imprints on a girl named Amber. Now, Jake will only see himself with Amber. While he may continue an awkward friendship with Bella, Amber is his love. And that imprinting love overshadows all.

Each week for the month leading up to the release, give us three events in the book. Only, one is fake. They can be as minor or major (or as obvious or inconspicuous) as you'd like (like, for New Moon: 1. Bella goes to the movies. 2. Bella marries a gnome. 3. Bella goes to Italy). Like a 2 truths and a lie type thing.

I was gonna add more ideas, but then I realised that was my only idea. Me = not creative.

Hm... Renesmee Carlie versus Edward Jacob. I'm split divided here. See, Renesmee is atrocious (although I'll admit to liking the nickname Nessie, although my first though upon seeing the name was "At least they can call her Renny, which I also like)). Edward is lovely, but I'm really not a fan of using a parent's name (although he would be Edward III). Carlie is kind of a guilty pleasure as I was nearly named Carly. Jacob is utter failcakes.

Why don't we get something everyone can enjoy? Just call her Rakey.

Edit: Or, call her Princess Unicorn Rainbow (which is what I told Kiera to name her baby. I even drew a picture I need to send to her!)

Choose? Between Leah and Seth? Oh my. They both are characters I love.

Pros:

Leah= Very similar in personality to me, sarcastic

Seth= Hot, nice, friendly, vampire-loving

Cons:

Leah= can get annoying, is female (and everyone knows females are psychotic)

Seth= can get annoying, has the same name as my brother (who I hate)

Hm... I guess I'm going for Seth.

Yay for getting better! I think we both had the same thing, since I'm just getting over my illness (which happened to have sprung up around the same time yours did) right now. Still have the cough though (and that ALWAYS seems to go off in Pre-Calc class so I'm coughing up a storm). But, YAY NO SWINE FLU. Seriously, if you had announced that you had Swine Flu (or h1n1 or whatever), I'd have killed you! MWAHAHA! Ily.

I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. I'd been telling my friends that you'd avoid this chapter (yesterday, in fact, I said "I think the reason Kaleb hasn't posted the next chapter is because he doesn't know what the hell to say". I also may have... erhm... said something along the lines of "Kaleb being the prude he is," but that's because of the part of you I see, it's sort of prudish (I mean, I don't know you outside the internet world).
