There was a $10 off $10 purchase card that went out in the mail in Knoxville earlier this month (not sure of the coverage). I just used mine today and got 2 pillows and a pair of pants for $3.47. Original retail value was over $70.00! Might have picked up a few more things if I had this earlier.

Everybody has their favorite chili type but this is my easy recipe:

1 lb ground turkey (or other meat, 1 lb frozen roll turkey is $1.29 at Aldi)
1 can chili hot beans (any brand)
1 can diced chili seasoned tomatoes (any brand)
1 package chili seasoning OR chili powder, garlic salt, ground cumin to taste w/ a dash of sugar

Brown turkey
Add seasoning(s)
Add beans & tomatoes
Simmer at least 15 minutes

Cook up to 1 hour (adding a little water as needed) to amplify the flavors. Serve with crackers and sharp cheddar cheese. Serves about 5. Add more beans, tomatoes and water to serve larger crowds.

Just got an email about the June events at Knoxville Center Mall. I think we will definitely be making the Mini-Chefs event tomorrow. There was also this:

We signed up for Kidgets at the Healthy Living Expo this year. For the $5 we got a backpack, large tote bag, t-shirt, Go Fish card game, some stickers and more I think. We've attended just 1 event so far and had a great time & got more free stuff. There have been several events we wanted to attend but have been too busy that day. Looking forward to more events though. We don't spend a lot on kid activities and this was a very good investment.
