Don't you mean WalMartWatch? I don't think Wal-Mart is the one who brought up this incident!! Besides, even though you may not want to admit it, Wal-Mart did NOT put the half frog into that bag, and just because it was a Great Value product, doesn't mean that it was packed in Wal-Mart's back room!! And the coupon they gave was a sort of apology, besides, it is usually the person at the 'customer service' desk that says they are sorry, not corporate at ANY company!! How much do you think a company should DO to make up for an error like this? When you had your restaurant, if a customer had a 'fly in their soup', would you have given them FREE meals for a year?

Here's the problem, you anti Wal-Mart people seem to think that I am defending Wal-Mart, but the fact that you never seem to grasp, is that I could care less if ANY business lives or dies!! My defense lies in the concepts of "Free Enterprise", "Free Choice" and "Free Markets"!! I only talk about Wal-Mart, because as has been noted many times, this is a Wal-Mart SITE!! You talk about 'social implications', but refuse to see the 'social implications' of denying people the right to choose where they prefer to shop!! And, how about the 'social implications' of people who have become 'dependant' on the taxpayers to care for them, have they NO responsibility for their actions? You talk about Costco NOT being perfect, yet you nit-pick at Wal-Mart, as if they SHOULD be perfect!! When something happens at Wal-Mart, it is presented as if that were the only place on the planet where adverse things happen!!

And, if someone posts here putting a 'good' face on Wal-Mart, your group shoots them down in flames as being liars or PR people!! Talk about "black & white", in your world, Wal-Mart is "black" and there is no "white"!!

As for SDV, how do you get that I "flamed" him? I just asked where he was, as your side has done many times in the past about people on our side of the issue!!

On the investor issue, I put my faith in the company BOD, (just like you put your faith in government officials), and if I feel they are acting against my interests, I will SELL off the stock (which is like a vote against the BOD) and move on to another investment!! After all, aren't "social implications" based on what ALL people do? Or, is it just the responsibility of the wealthy to practice 'responsibility', while the poor can do whatever they feel like?

You call ME despicable, while you are against allowing people to decide what they buy and where they buy it!! I promote freedom and you want to deny freedom, who really is being despicable?

But, I guess when your mind is closed and you have your blinders on, what people who disagree with you say, must sound like "twaddle" or as Screwedby says "drivel"!! It's kind of like how children look at what their parents say and can't understand WHY they are saying that!!

Here's an example: When Screwedby said that he had to be dragged, kicking and screaming, holding his nose, into a Wal-Mart store, by his mother or girlfriend, do you actually BELIEVE that that happened? Wal-Mart's lobbying efforts are no more onerous than those of the union's, AARP, or any other lobbying group!! Everyone, is there to get their piece of the ever increasing government PIE!! But, in the end, nothing passes without the support of Congress and the President!! And, in the STATES, it is up to the Legislature and Governor!! Wal-Mart DOES NOT sign bills into LAW!!
