man i stood in the freezing rain ONE FUCKING HOUR cause the bus got delayed. omg i just came home and ran under comforters. fuckin weather ugh. like i dont mind rain but not freezing rain. i guess i should be thankful hail didnt start fallin out of the sky along with it.

i agree with u. i dont mind the sunshine of summer but i hate when its ridiculously hot. when its too hot u can strip bare and it still wouldnt help at least when its cold u can put layers of clothing on and eventually feel warm even if u do look like 100 pds more cause of the clothing lol. and yes any excuse to drink hot chocolate sounds good to me :D

LOL thats what i was thinking. i'm like am I in the wrong dimension? are we not in the same NYC as he is? but for the most part it hasnt been cold though so technically u couldve still worn just a shirt depending on the day but today in NYC is effing cold.

yea the audience seemed to just be like wth???? and not know what was going on lol i think the lack of cheering or enthusiasm or watever made it seem awkward. btw i went to the cobracrew site and i'm reading that ppl already made their names and stuff on other cobra sites and all i see is "cobracrew coming soon" and i cant click on anything...

i agree with u. dude i have ur humble beginnings album believe me i know how far vocally you've come. i saw the conan performance and honestly i could care less how u sounded. i was just happy that you got to be on a show that gave you exposure like that and i'm happy that things seem to be going in the right direction for you all this time and hopefully this album does great and exceed everyone's expectations. but if it doesnt at least at the end of the day you have no regrets and you did it your way and you had fun while doing it. who cares if you're not the best singer? if you can connect with your fans i think you are way ahead of many artists in that aspect. many ppl get on my case for saying Nirvana is my fav band and they are like why cause nirvana is not that talented. kurt cant sing that well and they are not the best musicians but those kids are totally missing the point. music shouldnt be about who can sing better etc to me its something defined by the individual person and personally nirvana connected with me and in my world they were amazing doesnt mean i think they are the best musicians out there but for me they are great. similarly i get ppl saying shit about me liking cobra or when i loved midtown in the past. it was never about the vocals. i always felt i could identify with you in some way shape or form. when you were in midtown it was the lyrics and i could hang with you and you never made me feel like i was some annoying fan. now in cobra you are the same way. you more than paid your dues and i'm so happy for all the oppertunities that are coming your way and i think you guys along with estelle did a good job last nite. yea it was not perfect but thats whats great about you guys.. you arent perfect and embrace your flaws. you dont think you're better than anyone and by showing that its ok to make mistakes you are staying at our level and i appreciate that more than anything. dont listen to haters. us cobra fans know that you guys are amazing and we see it all the time when we go to your shows. thats what counts. and for a person that had surgery only a couple months ago i think your vocals were great on the album and last nite. :)

exactly. i pay a shitload of money as is to support cobra because i want to and because its all part of the experience and to tell me that paying 50 bucks for a fanclub to make me more of a "fan" just makes no sense to me. i will not join the fanclub nor would i renew it if thats what you have to do at the end of the yr because honestly i too feel that i dont need to prove that i am fan because i know i am a fan at the end of the day and i dont need a little certificate or newsletter to tell me or anyone else that im any more of a fan than others. that pisses me off when i see kids just jump in front of me and cut the line and i'm there for hrs. we all werent blessed with rich parents and i pay for stuff on my own so i dont even have that option of having parents pay for me even if they could afford it. this is just a horrible idea and please gabe do not give in to the suits! you guys do more than enough to reward us fans by just hanging out with us. you are one of the most interactive bands i've met and you dont need to give us anything more and anyone who tells you otherwise is just in it for free shit and dont give a crap about the actual band.

i 100% agree with this. yrs ago i joined some fan clubs. saved up so much money just to join the damn things and when i got the stuff i got shirts that i would never wear or even think about purchasing. nothing was my size. it was either too big or too small and nothing for average normal ppl. I got autographed photos that werent even signed by the band it was like this autopen shit and the other gifts i recieved just continued to be lamer and lamer it was not worth it and i was so pissed that i spent my money on that. gabe u already have a fanclub as kelseylynn said. its the ppl on your myspace and twitter and on this blog. the ones that try to keep contact with you and care about wtf you have to say and its not about how much merch we can get for free or at a discount price cause basically you are paying for the merch you are getting when u join those damn fanclubs. please kick the suits to a corner and only ask for their input when its really needed. you've already got the fan part under control.

yes i agree. ppl are just gonna fight. there isnt a fan club and ppl already debating and arguing over who is more of a devoted fan. I myself cannot afford to join fan clubs and honestly i rather go to a show and actually meet a band to get photos of them and autographs etc instead of paying a 30 dollar fee to have the fan club send me a photo already autographed. I buy merch when i can and i'm proud of it because i know that i put time into earning that money and chose to spend it on something i love and not just have merch thrown at me and say take it or leave it. whoever these suits are telling u that a fanclub is a great idea really need to stfu. there are better ways to reach out to fans. and like u said those who actually buy the cds etc show that they are dedicated fans through that. i say fuck that idea too and dont give in. you've done what you wanted pretty much all these yrs why start listening to suits now.

millionaires and midtown are unrelated. if you let something like him liking millionaires affect you from discovering new music and listening to midtown then i pity you i really do. even if you think millionaires is garbage that shouldnt stop you from giving midtown a chance. If you didnt get into midtown before then it makes no difference now only that you are showing off how ignorant you are in comparing the two.

him repeating jokes is part of a show. him doing an interview is him having a forum to be more real and not so much in the spotlight where he can talk about things that matter unlike him being on stage nobody is gonna expect him to give a speech on why he does the things he does etc. being on stage leaves little room to show what he's all about. If you based everything you knew about him from what he does at shows you or an outsider would be oh he's just a drunken idiot who repeats himself but reading an actual interview he can show that there is more to him; more sides of him that ppl dont normally get to see. If he becomes repetitive in the interview its like he doesnt have that much to say when in fact he does. I know as a reader when i read repetitive things i always think that there is not much to that person that they probably were just being all generic and answering questions as quickly as possible as if they rehearsed answers like chicks in pageants. be happy that he is taking the time to make sure that its not redundant and that we get the most out of this interview.

that made no sense. gabe supporting the millionaires and him supposedly letting success in the music industry change him are completely two different things. I'm getting really tired of ppl saying he has changed either for better or for worse. why can't he just be GABE. a person shouldnt have to be stuck being one way and doing things only to make others happy or what society thinks is right. you may not like the millionaires. hell even i dont like the millionaires and i'm very vocal on that but i wouldnt tell Gabe not to stick up for them. They are his friends/acquaintances of his, why shouldnt he choose to defend them if he wants to. Its the same thing as if you or I had a friend that ppl shit on and you would defend your friend or try to let others see it from another perspective. Even if they dont agree at least they can try and meet halfway and avoid conflict in the future. Yes he doesnt need to defend them and i'm sure he's getting tired of it but every time you all bring it up it brings this topic back to the surface which will prompt him at times to defend them again and its like an endless cycle. and this success you are talking about..wtf success much has he gained??? i dont know about you but i still see the same Gabe with his plaid shirts (although lately not so much =[ ) who barely promotes his own band, who takes the time to meet and greet and talk with fans as much as he can...things he did since in the days of midtown.

yea i agree. its the sweat or whatever that is on her that is unappealing. yea i would just save it on my comp or put it on my mp3 player. but i do like to play cds when i have ppl over so to avoid the cover art id just put something different over that pic but still have cover there in the case. but it is growing on me so i wouldnt even have to do anything. i just wish it had less of that greasy stuff lol. i can appreciate the pose, the tat, the nails but its that sweat or watever that gets to me lol.

lol i know! i noticed the same thing. i'm like wtf am i reading this shit wrong. yea i agree the cover doesnt matter. ppl can hate or like it at the end of the day its about the music and anyone who can appreciate the music is a fan. i think they are confusing the definition of what it means to be a fan.. oh well. u know who and what you are and you know you are a cobra fan. nothing they can say can change that. :)

ok ppl really need to stop abusing saying "real fans" this is not an issue. its an album cover. ppl have their opinions. just cause they dont like it doesnt mean they arent fans of cobra and not supporting cobra and not appreciative and thankful that cobra had another chance to make an album. its about the songs not the album cover. the majority arent attacking cobra or saying shit to gabe. they are just simply saying the album cover isnt their cup of tea. if you were actually defending something for example defending cobra against the real haters...the ppl that claimed to be gabes fan and then attacked him for supporting millionaires.. that would be a situation in which you would call them out on being posers and not real fans. attacking actual fans for having opinions is not.
