Perhaps you've heard of it, but if not, I'd like to point you to the Speech Accent Archive: &lt;a href="http://accent.gmu.edu/browse_atlas.php" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://accent.gmu.edu/browse_atlas.php"&gt;http://accent.gmu.edu/brows...&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I stumbled onto it, too, a few years ago. Basically, it provides audio recordings of English speakers from all linguistic and cultural backgrounds repeating a canned paragraph of text in their accent, whatever it might be. There're accents ranging from bastardized Louisianan Creole French to South Korean Korean. If you're interested in the speech patterns of foreign tongues, it's an excellent place to look around.
