I would probably keep the lenovo for myself as a primary and give my aging Toshiba Sat to my 16 yo stepson or my husband who doesn't have a notebook at all.

I am a researcher, so SPSS or maybe any other the research software.

All of the MS Office Professional especially OneNote, Word, Excel, etc.

I would love Publisher, I like to create my own business cards and invites.

I recently did my jury duty service about two weeks ago; my employer listed my two days as holiday (like it was a vacation) on my timesheet. So I won't take a financial hit, but I was not given additional time on projects.

The state of Maryland as generous as they are only offer $15 a day compensation. Free parking at an auxiliary lot is about the only extra's provided.

No mileage, no free lunch, nothing additional, so it can be worse all the way around.

I still haven't received my fat thirty dollar check but I'm waiting.

I know this is super unsexy but I would spend the hundred dollar gift card on a shower rod, shower curtain and new bathroom fixtures for the bathtub.

My husband is six foot nine and he has to duck to get under the shower doors. I would take the shower doors down and put up a new taller showerhead with matching fixtures.

I have never been a fan of Chris Noth. Not sure why, even back in his original Law & Order days. I was one of the people cheering when he got the ax. He is smary looking or maybe seeming.

Totally agree but it goes further than Hoeing for Hotness - it basically boils down to wanting to be famous (and in their minds - rich and famous are intertwined) and not having any tangible skills except sex, loud talking, ghetto behavior that sells on tv and the willingness to shame all the people they know to get there...

I have had the worst roommate karma.

The one from Okla: who snored louder than an outboard motor on rocket and begin crying ten minutes after her mother left.

The 19 year old freshman: who had never made a bed or cleaned for herself. Total slob and spoiled - never a good combo.

The False Virgin: She preached God - 24/7/366 and claimed she was a virgin. She spoke badly about those who didn't believe in waiting for sex until marriage. Turns out she was pregnant at 14, 15, and 16.

The Liar & The Thief: Twin Sisters who gave new meaning to bad and worse.

I have told the kids once you leave you will not be coming back. I plan on enjoying living alone with the Hubbster but we will need separate bathrooms.
