I've never understood all the noise about these balms. I fell for the pink shaded one, but was deeply underwhelmed. (Is that an oxymoron? LOL) I don't know--maybe my lips aren't pigmented enough. Or something.

I've only tried one, a Beyond product, and I was underwhelmed. It took so much patting and pressing to get it to look even, and the coverage wasn't worth it.

I love Tommy Hilfiger's spf30 lip balm, but it's really hard to find in stores. It's great that Almay has come out with an spf30 lip balm because I'll be able to find it easily. Hooray!

I quit my subscription boxes a while ago because I was drowning in samples. I'm still drowning in samples, but they're not Korean, and I'm incredibly curious about K-beauty. I hate to admit it, but I'm tempted.

Also, I have dry, aging skin, and most of the people on the Asian Beauty subreddit appear to be battling acne--it would be nice to find out about K-beauty products for people like me.

It all looks lovely! I'll pass because I so very rarely use highlighters, and I already have a LE Illusions d'Ombre in a white shade with glitter (Fantasie?) but they look great on you. And the top coat almost gives you "mannequin hands." Very nice!

EL doesn't get a lot of love in a lot of skincare circles, but even Paula Begoun approves of this product, so I gave ANR a try and stuck to it. I've used it for a couple of years now. I don't think any actual anti-aging has been happening, but I like it as a skin plumper. I use a little under makeup sometimes, as well as at night, because it's during the day that I care about skin plumping--nobody's admiring my complexion while I sleep (until my husband wakes up to check it out, which, from the snoring, seems unlikely.)

Yes, yes, yes. I recently reviewed some exfoliating pads which were an ingredient cluster duck. AHAs and BHAs and plant extracts up the wazoo, mostly various flavors of vegetable tea, and honestly, the pads work, I guess, but they tire me.
