Luxemburg proposed a choice between socialism and barbarism; clearly, Salazar prefers barbarism to any economic system that would in any way uplift the working class. Citing Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba as examples of failed socialism without mentioning the role US sanctions and political interference played in those failures is as stupid as it is disingenuous. Socialism only fails when capitalists intervene.

The end of the US Empire doesn't have to be the end of democracy, Rather, it could simply be the end of capitalism and the beginning of socialism as the preferred economic system of the working class. Until working-class "capitalists" fully understand how capitalism exploits and impoverishes them and how socialism offers their only hope for economic and environmental salvation, their economic oppression will continue. And, yeah, I get the whole patriotism and disenchantment thing--been there, done that.

Gather your disciples 'round you, Nylene, and teach them the values of a healthy ecosystem, of the virtues of Socialism vs. the downsides of Capitalism, of the high-value moral principles of cooperation, sharing and community. Always teach the truth. Never fabricate. You know these subjects well, so teach to your disciples everything you know and send them out into the world to repeat the process until the whole world knows what's at stake, what;s to gain, and why abandoning Capitalism in favor of Socialism is the only rational choice. When enough people know, change will happen.

Contrary to what most Americans believe, socialism offers a solution for every problem. All capitalism offers are more problems. Yes, we need changes--some of them radical changes--to create a healthy, well-educated, prosperous society that's at peace with itself, the global community, and the planet. We have precious little time to waste.

Bernie's right. In keeping with the Progressive Green Democratic
EcoSocialist Party's ideology, I suggest we expand The Public Trust beyond natural resources to include essential resources like the agricultural industry, the energy industry, the healthcare industry, and the communications industry, among others. These things are far too valuable to be left in capitalist/corporate hands.

Regarding point #1, snark is obviously wasted on you. Regarding point #2, preventing the next pandemic doesn't hinge on punishing Fauci for his misdeeds (which he so richly deserves), but on removing him from his current job and installing a qualified medical professional in that position (I nominate Dr. Peter McCullogh). There will be plenty of time to deal with Fauci after the next pandemic has been averted. Regarding point #3, nationalizing the pharma industry will accomplish those things, and more. VAERS is the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System. Are you suggesting that some 15,000 deaths attributed to COVID vaccines reported to VAERS since December, 2020, are not cause for concern? What about the hundreds of thousands of reported vaccine injuries, including deaths and permanent disabilities? Based on the high numbers, a rational person would conclude that the COVID vaccines are not safe.

Israel provides perfect examples of Pfizer's COVID vaccine's lack of efficacy. With around 90% of its population fully vaccinated, Israelis are now starting to line up for a second booster shot, which brings the total COVID shot count to four to reach fully vaccinated status. How many more? Even worse, about 70% of new COVID cases occur among the fully vaccinated so, no, the vaccine isn't effective.

Understand this: "safe and effective" is part of Big Pharma;s marketing narrative. It's part of their sales pitch. It;s not true, but it serves a useful purpose,

Not necessarily, Jim. Vaccines could be designed to cause terminal illnesses to occur many months after the injection. The mRNA technology used in COVID vaccines would make that a relatively simple task. Perhaps the government's reckless haste to get everyone vaccinated in record time is driven by the need to get the last people vaccinated before the first people vaccinated start dying. As it is, more than 13,000 deaths and 595,000 injuries attributed to COVID vaccines have been reported to VAERS; a Harvard study showed that VAERS captures as little as 1% of mortality/injury data. The implications are astounding--and horrifying.

I wish I could be absolutely certain that the US government hasn't already done something about global warming. Vaxxecuting 90% of the global population would accomplish that end in less time and at lower cost than any other methods they might deploy.

The CDC under-counts vaccine deaths and compensates by over-counting COVID-19 deaths. In the end, it all balances out, though; the same number of people are dead, regardless of the cause of death.

Tomorrow, more people will die (all-cause mortality), and more the day after, and more the day after that. Such is the nature of existence; people live, and then they die. And life goes on. Or not.
