The X3 are also very problem-prone. They have abysmal reception when used outdoors (Jaybird says you need to keep them within 2 feet of your phone), they have a high failure rate, and they're prone to serious battery degradation issues.

AT&T's S4 is on 5.0.1. Despite what this article seems to suggest, I'd say the chances of ever seeing 5.1.1 are slim to none. Which means we'll be stuck with broken video playback on this phone until we replace it. (After being on for a day or few, video playback will freeze while the sound continues. Rebooting the phone temporarily solves the problem, but it always comes back.)

Dangit.. My PCs have an HD7790 and a GTX750, because supposedly those were roughly equivalent to the GPUs in the PS4 & XBone. Unfortunately, they're underpowered for all the PC versions of current gen games coming out, though.

Nope. Can't handle FF games anymore. The uncanny valley is way too deep when you add in horribly-localized dialogue and the super-awkward mannerisms you frequently find in Japanese mocap.

So, if you enable incoming calls through Hangouts, is it still possible to answer incoming calls using cellular voice instead of answering through Hangouts? I'd really rather only use the VoIP when on WiFi, so I don't chew through my data allowance.

As is it, every time you fly, half a dozen people with "disabilities" jump the line to get on the plane first. Now we should let everyone make last minute cancellations because someone "died"?

It's possible that existing per-minute customers are grandfathered into data. These rates are already live, and I was just able to buy 50mb to go with my per-minute plan.

Looks like these rates are already current. Despite everything on the refill website saying you need a monthly plan for data, I just bought $5/50MB to go with my 10 cent/minute plan.
