Though I'm only familiar with their self titled album, I am quite addicted to it. Dead Can Dance is awesome, rather dark as well but ambient. The Jayhawks, Sound of Lies album is one of my faves, not quite so dark. Placebo's Without You I'm Nothing album is great too. If you like 90's music at all Gin Blossoms is one of my faves, and Collective Soul had some great songs. I hope there's something here you enjoy, I'm all across the board, just threw a few out there for you.
