You ought to provide an easy to location Email address or function for us readers to report little problems with the Powerline postings. By little problems, I mean the misspelled words, missing words, and using the wrong word (their vs there; to vs too).

In general the PowerLine writing is VERY logical and fact based, but tiny errors do show up and it would be nice to have a quick way to get comments to the three of you.

Drudge has an option to fill in comments in a box.

There is no need to post this comment. Thanks

Paul Rahe's comments are typical of the affirmative action that has benefited President Obama since returning to the USA at age 10; the bigotry of no expectations.

I agree that the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama was for "posturing, rhetoric, and optics -- that is the essence of hope and change." This is most sad.

The Ego Has Landed, however it is even more massive.

This is an affirmative action Noble peace prize by the politicians of the Norwegian parliament for President Obama. His massive ego will become insufferable.

The application had to be submitted by February 1, 2009 when he had been in office eleven and a half days.

Most of the peoples of the Indian tribes of SW USA and Mexico are very prone to diabetes, with some in excess of 90% with diabetes. Most of the Hispanics of the Western USA are from Mexico and Central American and of those, most have a significant percent of American Indian DNA in them; therefore a high to very high rate of diabetes.

As for liberals and their reporting, I have found that most to be number challenged, and in particular statistics challenged. They may muck up numerical data without even trying to be dishonest.

I question whether the massive ego of President Obama can be penetrated by facts such as how badly was his presentation to the IOC.

I believe that his ego will hold, that no learning experiences will break through and he will continue to believe that his silver tongue can sell anything and everything.

Also, racism is the quick explaination for all his non successes.

Unless and until the crazy requirements of the CRA for bankers to make loans to the uncreditworthy is fixed, the root cause of the financial panic of fall 2008 continues. I assume that most bankers will reduce their general lending so as to reduce the requirements to make these crazy loans, in particular if Fannie/Freddie no longer will buy these crazy financial papers.

Also, why would an informed and rational investor invest in the USA when the root problem of the financial panic of fall 2008 has not been fixed, rather is ignored?

The difference between SNL satire of Glenn Beck and that of President Obama is that it is very routine for satire (and worse) of Glenn Beck and all other conservations and Republicans, BUT this is the first significant satire of President Obama in the USA (that I know of).

Until this point such satire of President Obama would have been awarded the RACISM label.

If one has a MASSIVE EGO one may say anything without accountability. I suggest that the key factor to understanding President Obama is his MASSIVE EGO, so massive that his various non successes do not register in his intellect. My guess is that to President Obama he did not fail yesterday, rather he created a future success for Chicago to win the 2020 summer Olympics. I suggest that to his intellect, he has never failed, rather, problems only occur because of evil, vile, and/or racist people (Republicans in particular).

Droit de seigneur is the legal principle that applies here. The elite such as Polanski are permitted to have their way with the peasant girls and these girls can be thankful for the experience (and that they did not die in the process).

Ten years ago the same legal principle was raised in the defense of Bill Clinton in the one rape rule as presented by the National Organization of Women when several women complained about being raped by Clinton. NOW said that should the women/girl complain, that they ought not be raped a second time (therefore the one rape rule).

The elite are different from the peasant masses. The peasant masses exist to serve the needs of the elite.

Yes, you are correct that the KKK was founded by Democrats and operated as the terrorist wing of the Democratic Party and yes you are correct that the Republican members of the US Congress proposed and supported all civil rights legislation from 1865 until the late 1960s.

The "civil rights" legislation after 1969 typically had little to do with civil rights and much to do with income redistribution.

For left wingers, see A Short History of Reconstruction by Eric Foner (he is a left winger also, as I remember his parents were Communists). Foner provides a factual account of the many actions of the Democratic Party against black Americans and the Republican Party, to include killing about 3,000 Republicans (1,000 white and 2,000 black).

I have grown very weary of elite journalists describing President Obama as brilliant, highly intelligent, articulate, and as a master politician.

He is none of these. Rather he is of ordinary intelligence (of a ordinary lawyer), very lacking in political and people skills, and glib.

I have followed American politics since the mid 1950s and can think of no national political leader who has done worse. In large part I am thankful for his incompetence, for it greatly reduces the damage he will do via new legislation. However, his incompetence in national security/defense could get many Americans killed by our enemies.

We ought to encourage President Obama to give many more speeches and press conferences so that more Americans (and Democrats in the US Congress) will come to view him as unfit.

The very HIGH unemployment numbers for teenagers is largely the result of the BIG increase in the federal minimum wage.

The advantage of teenage workers was that while their job skills were minimal, they would work for very little. Now with the high minimum wage, there are a lot more adults who are taking jobs previously filled by teenagers.

Increases in the minimum wage have the same impact on all less desired groups of workers such as ex-convicts, handicap, high school drop outs and such.

For us Americans there are two issues concerning the current "crises" in Honduras:

1. What are the factual facts concerning the removal of Zelaya (was it within or outside of the constitution of Honduras) and

2. Will the elite left of the USA (to include those now running the US federal government) get their left wing friend (Zelaya) returned to power by any means?

I have noticed that the elite left in the USA are actively uninterested in knowing or discussing the factual facts concerning the removal of Zelaya, to include an editorial today (Sept 25) in The Washington Post that clearly lacks any interests in factual facts.

The British prime minister got much the same disdainful treatment as the French president got when President Obama visited Paris last June and REFUSED to have lunch or diner with the French president, even though Obama was staying a very short distance away.

1. Obama's efforts to remove the democratic Government of Honduras and replace it with the Marxist former President Zelaya (also supported by Venezeulan dictator Chavez) is 180 degrees opposite from Obama's sermon at the UN yesterday of non involvement in the affairs of other nations.

The UK newspaper the Guardian reports that Obama spurned FIVE requests by the UK prime minister for meetings in New York or at the G20 in Pittsburg.

Apparently the White House made this public to ensure that the snub by Obama of the "typical white person" (and UK prime minister) Gordon Brown became well known.

I do not agree that President Obama has outgrown his inexperience. His arrogance and massive ego block him from learning from any of his many failings.

Concerning his many put downs of "typical white people" (Queen Elizabeth, Gordon Brown, the President of France, etc.), those were likely intended, so they ought not be considered failings. They can be considered STUPID.

But most of us would view anyone who believes in Marxism to be STUPID, but many of the elite intellectuals of the world believe in Marxism. I assume that President Obama believes in Marxism.
