Tough to answer that these days. Yes I did sapu most of them LOL. I gave most of them away as gifts. I saw a tray of them in Haniffa Textiles in Jln Masjid India. Not too sure that there are any old Chinese Bookshops in Sentul. By the way, all my Primary and Secondary schooling was done in Sentul :P The nearest one I think would be the 2 stationery shops in Jln Ipoh. One is near the famous Dim Sum place and the other is further down from the Dim Sum place.

Also, I found all metal versions of Hero pens in Tesco Puchong. If you're in the area, you may want to check those out.

If all else fails, there's always ebay. recommended seller: gotoschool888. Hit me up in the comments if you're still having probs. Thanks for dropping by! :)

Re: Hero Blue Black Ink Review

Hi there Frank, I was as you were apprehensive about putting Hero inks in any of my pens. But I did find a super cheap Hero 331 that i filled up with the ink. Worked well enough to convince me to start using it in all my pens. Hope you enjoy the ink!

Re: Hero #331 review

Thanks for the kind words Andrei. Not too sure where you are located at the moment, but if you look through some of the posts on fountain pens here, I'm sure you can find a link to purchasing them online. Good Luck! :)

Re: Pilot 78G

Glad to hear you got that problem fixed Yaniel!

Re: Hero #331 review

Thanks Boo! :)

Re: Pilot 78G

Hi Guys, Apologies for not replying immediately. Doc Olmo, its becoming very difficult to find the 78Gs that I've reviewed. In fact, there are only 2 more of these left in a small stationery shop in Seri Kembangan in the row behind the KFC. However, I've seen the slightly older version (with a gold cap - same pen) in Haniffa Textiles in Masjid India, KL and in Petaling Street. In Petaling Street, Look for:

LEE'S PEN SERVICE
Lot G-8
Bangunan Pak Peng
76 Jalan Petaling
5000 Kuala Lumpur
Tel: 00 603 2078 7987
Fax: 00 603 2078 7987
Email: leespen@pd.jaring.my

M.Hamzi, really sorry to hear about your loss. But Hero 616s and 100 are both rare in Malaysia. Nearest thing I've found was a RM 10 Hero#299 in Tesco Puchong. They look good (slimmer than a Parker 51) but write very well. Here's a tip, try looking for China pens in old Chinese bookshops. I saw some very excellent looking Jinhao pens in a Chinese bookshop in Petaling Street (diagonally opposite the old Rex cinema)..Prices for Jinhaos range from RM60+ to RM100. They look great and write rather well. Other Chinese brands which are good writers are Wing Sung pens. I got myself the Wing Sung #235 (Sheaffer Imperial Clone) in a small town in Sarawak last week for RM6. You can find deals like these in KL too. All you need to do is look. Happy Hunting! :)

Ruth: Thanks a million for helping to answer some of these questions:)

Re: Pilot 78G

Well, I'm based in Malaysia and found it in an old bookshop near my place. If you are in Malaysia, I can give you some directions. Else, your best bet would be either ebay or the For sale thread in the Fountain Pen Network Forum. www.hisnibs.com/pilot_pens.htm also has a nice selection of 78Gs. Hope this helps :)

Re: inked Expressions

Haha...click on the picture and read the description Wolfie :)

Re: Pos Malaysia, Free money and a lot of hot air

yay! Followed the link from Mashable to your blog. Nice Implementation of Disqus. One thing I've really been impressed is the fact that Daniel takes the trouble to drop by and see if he can lend a hand.

Admittedly, Disqus has a long way to go but I think its been great so far. I've put it on my blog too. Come have a look and..leave a comment :P

Re: Short update on Disqus & Template issues.

Hi Daniel,
First of all, great job putting Disqus together! I'm surprised that you contacted me when I mentioned the slight issue I was having. You see, I implemented Disqus with a 'use Disqus from the next new blog posting' option but for some reason, it never worked. I went back and did the other option which would hide all the previous comments. Is there a way to fix this? I'm on Blogger by the way. Does it have something to do with the template I'm using?

While I have your attention, I wanted to ask if there's a way to incorporate Haloscan comments into Disqus. I have a bunch of comments stuck there and was wondering if there's a way to bring all that back into the Disqus fold. I know you can export out the comments from Haloscan but can you get them into Disqus? Thanks for stopping by. I'm honored by the visit and extremely happy that you take the trouble to make sure your product is of good quality. Cheers.

Re: Commenting. The Next Discontinuous Evolution.

Hi,
Thanks for stopping by. Well, it seems that there is a way to import out Haloscan comments into a xml file or something but you gotta pay them that $12. As for reintegrating that XML back into Disqus, I'm not too sure about that.

To answer your second question, right now, the 'implement from here on' seems to be working with WordPress and some Blogger sites (tho for Blogger I think it would template-dependent). I too have tried looking for anything that will do the 'from now on' with Haloscan but to no avail. My best recommendation is to try the first option but before you do that, get in touch with the guys from Disqus to see if that XML integration thing works.

Hope I've helped in some way. Cheers.
