I think it's a good idea to ban these types of workplace relationships entirely but then the question of how to actually enforce the rules becomes, in reality, difficult to say the least.

Guilty as charged! Yes, I have definitely let my masculine take over in my life. Even though I know it, it's very difficult for me to slow down and let that control go. I have a very busy life and I feel the need to get it ALL DONE. This is a great article and I need to sit down and think about re-prioritizing things and bring out the "other" side. I believe that people should do what they want to do as long as its consensual and no one's getting hurt. However, when I think about my daughter (or granddaughters) having this many sexual partners, it really freaks me out. I hope young women can find what they're looking for in way less than 20-30 men. Yikes!!!

Thank you for this blog entry! Back in the 70's (with women's lib) I think we were on the right path of overcoming our Puritan ideas that have been hammered into our heads, but now it seems that we've done some backsliding when it comes to sexual attitudes (especially about women). I think it's interesting that in Europe where things are much more "open" that the teenage pregnancy rate is much lower than it is here. When are we going to understand that sex is normal, healthy and that we shouldn't be teaching our children to be ashamed of their bodies?
