As long Edward's flittering image doesn't remind me of old school 'beaming' from Star Trek then I'm cool.

I must say that I disagree with showing Edward in South America. I believe if shown too quickly, then the anticipation, as well as the power of their reunion, will be lost. What makes a good movie great, in my opinion, is that on the edge of your seat anticipation.

The only time I wish to see Edward in South America is when he receives the call from Rosalie.

Yes they did. I fell in love with Into The West. I enjoyed that it showed the struggles of both families, and that it really showed more of a truth from the Native American side.

It was interesting to watch it and then speak with my mom (she is full Cherokee) about it. I can't tell you how hard we cried.

Aw! Bless her. I am glad you feel a spiritual connection to her. I can certainly understand. My great-grandmother told me stories as well. I loved hearing them, however some were so terribly sad. They were about Nunna daul Tsuny (trail where they cried aka trail of tears) and it just broke my heart. I was also fortunate enough to learn, at a young enough age, the art of basket weaving from her before she passed on. I can't tell you how many scars (that I wear with pride) I have on my hands from the river cane.
I am attempting to pass the art on to my fellow twiaddict cousin. Her love for Twilight is my fault as well lol. I bought Twilight & NM just before our 2007 summer vacation. I passed the first book to her, and she passed it to her mom and so forth. I eventually got it back from our Aunt at the end of the week. But anyhow, sorry this is so long lol.

That is awesome about the quilting! It has always fascinated me to watch someone peice a quilt together. I'm glad the art was passed down in your family. I love hearing about families who pass things down throughout the generations. My family has been in the same state (NC) for hundreds of years, and I cherish my own stories so much. It's amazing to find other families do the same. I hope that sense lol.

haha @ making fun of your friend! My aunt made fun of me vacation week. Just because on the second day, we went down to the beach, and I wouldn't speak, or get up. I rotated in my lounge chair when needed and kept my nose stuck in the book. Now she is my ring leader for mapping our battle plans for the New Moon release. I had never heard of Twilight until I walked into Barnes & Noble, my home away from home, and the cover intrigued me. I picked it up, read the first chapter, and I was hoooked. I finished Twilight on the 2nd day and handed it off. I finished New Moon on the 3rd day. On the 4th, I searched every bookstore from Wilmington to Myrtle Beach for Eclipse. (It wasn't out yet) I fell so in love with New Moon, and Jacob's (althought for Bella I am team Edward) character, that I settled for a 2nd read. I always want to reach into the pages and hold him lol. Tell him it'll be okay. I am just about to start my 4th read. I have to let the saga sit for a bit before beginning again. It's like reading it for the first time, and each time I find myself wanting to scream at Bella halfway through Eclipse until BD lol. I am not a fan of the way she treats Jake. :( And I made this a long post again lol sorry!

I must say that I enjoy Chris much more than I did Catherine. My fear of the flim adaptation isn't quite a high this time around, and New Moon is my favorite! I can't wait to see what Chris does with the effects. His job certainly isn't a simple one. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I have never experienced a divorce, and I can't imagine that pain. My understanding comes from my former fiance. We were together for 6 1/2 years and what I swore would never happen did. I caught him in an affair, so I told him to choose either myself or the other woman. Needless to say, Leah and I have something in common, except my guy didn't have the excuse of imprinting. So I can certainly understand a love lost. That is also why I wanted to knock the hell out of Jake for being manipulative as well. I know how that feels all too well, but for all of Jake's boneheaded moves, I could understand his motivation and desperation. I guess I fell in love with the idea of him fighting, however selfish he was, so hard to make Bella love him. Also, why NM stole my heart, because Jake came in during Bella's darkest time and saved her as best he could. Which is why he earned a few of the tears that I shed over the saga lol

Okay before I say this please know I am not an Edward fanatic nor a Robert fanatic. Therefore I am not even the slightest bit jealous nor do I hate her. She met Rob. Big deal.

After reading the blog, I must say I'm disappointed. I agree that Rob is only human and he is no more important than I. However, without seeming judgmental, I found the wording and motives a bit odd, but to each their own.

Again congrats to her for meeting Robert, and kudos for stating he is simply human like the rest of us.

I caught the show this morning and it was hilarious that he wouldn't hug Sandra or Hugh. I must say the dude is built! The comparison of him now to his appearance in Twilight is astounding. His arms are HUGE! Bravo to him the hard work certainly paid off.

I must say that I agree with you about the jealousy and nastiness. I tend to agree with you often lol. Personally I do not understand the jealousy because I do not know these actors. However, I did say previously that I found it a bit odd. Hopefully you, and others, did not take it, if you saw it, as me being jealous or hateful. She met Robert, big deal you know lol.

Oh I loved Garrett!! He brought humor to the standoff for me. I must say that he and Emmett were my favorite vampires. Edward was just too perfect for my taste, but I have major wolf love. Beautiful half-naked, native men, romping around exploding out of their clothes? Oh hale yes! lol.
I'm excited about the movies, although I had some apprehension toward Twilight. I don't understand the stress placed on the cast and executives to be honest. It's quite sad actually. Either, someone isn't blond enough, tall enough, short enough, or buff enough. I find it ridiculous. I am not holding my breath for a BD movie. It will interesting how Eclipse is adapted into a script.

Okay I will not lie I am a bit disappointed that I did not get my dream Caius (Jonathan Rhys Meyer), but that is what reading is for. However, the magic I found with Twilight the movie was the cast, as a whole, was relatively unknown. I really enjoyed Jamie's performance in Sweeny Todd, and he does have a creepy/beautiful vibe to him. It isn't hard to image him in the white hair and red eyes of the fearless (until you talk werewolves) leader. I bet once he is in the Caius make up he will certainly look the part.

Let's give him a chance. What do you guys say?

Okay number one. Lainey is rather irritating to me. She calls Twilight fans losers, and what not, yet she is reporting on the cast. With pictures. I swear that she is a closet Twilight fan.

Number two, Nikki is one haleuva person. Anyone that has read about her life would know that. Also did anyone of you know that she wrote the script for Thirteen? I have never understood the pure hatred directed toward her. She has experienced more hardships in her 20 years than some can imagine. Who cares if she and Rob date or whatever. Don't you, as "fans", wish happiness for the cast members?

The rudeness, negativity, and just plain old vile jealousy directed toward our actors is ridiculous! We are lucky that our favorite story has been turned into a movie and how do we repay them? By trashing their PRIVATE (if I could bold that I would) lives, their significant others, and their looks? Get over yourselves and grow up!! They are HUMAN! I feel terrible for the cast! They are hunted like animals and every part of them is microscopically picked apart by the 'fans.' If you are a fan of something/someone try accepting them as they are.

With that being said. The minute that Taylor Lautner turns 18 a slue of cougars will be drooling over him. It should be....wait in the US it is, illegal for him to be that cute! He is HUGE! Can you girls imagine what he will look like when he hits the 20s. Good lord!

And a side note...are Taylor and Michael wearing the same jacket or is it just me?
