Terry, this was yet another fantastic show and I purchased The Tender Bar halfway through the broadcast.

I can't find a listing of the song played between the interview and the music review. Does anyone know what it was? A melancholy song with accordian.

It is interesting to read your summary of the comments. You left out a very important category: the number of religious comments compared to the non-believer comments and/or responses. Over the years I have learned that the ones who call for execution, especially by detailed, barbaric torture methods, are always the christians. Also, it is impossible for a dead person to "rest in peace." The person is dead, not resting. Also, you should not be disappointed in the seeming lack of condolences offered because this is not a memorial website dedicated to the memory of Sierra. This is a news story with a comment section. I seriously doubt that Sierra's grieving parents are surfing the internet looking for condolences. I, too, grieve for Sierra and all the children who suffer, but I will not post my condolences for the family here - I will express my sincere condolences to them on the funeral home website.

If I could outlaw bars I would, but I wouldn't outlaw alcohol. I've always been amazed at all the cars parked at bars and how they're all gone at closing time, the majority driving drunk. It's a crazy society. I think that medicinal MJ should be sold like cigarettes at Albertsons. Yes, I've seen people in wheelchairs outside the garish and lame looking dispensaries and I give them the benefit of the doubt, but the majority of medicinal MJ folks are recreational stoners. It doesn't matter to me if you need to get high. I just don't like the dispensaries. Lower your animosity level please.

Even the most decrepit liquor store doesn't look as ridiculous as the best of the dispensaries. There are no liquor stores here in the Inland Empire with alcoholics stumbling around the doors every morning waiting for them to open, but there are always, sorry to say, dirty looking pot smokers waiting for the dispensary doors to open. Why can't the medicinal MJ patients take showers and wear clean clothes?

I completely agree with both of your points. The reason I originally thought that medicinal MJ should be dispensed from pharmacies is only because it's considered "medicinal," but I agree that alcohol is an insane drug which shouldn't be legal if MJ isn't. If we could put it to a vote to have MJ sold in liquor stores I would vote yes. But please take these ridiculous dispensaries away. Peace.

I'd rather see happy children playing on swings than a dozen greasy haired potheads waiting for the dispensary to open. How anyone could say they don't like the sound of children laughing is beyond my comprehension. You need to get your priorities in order, fellow human.

Make it a vote to have medicinal MJ dispensed by pharmacies and I'll vote yes. I am tired of these pathetic and garish dispensaries in my town. If you pot smokers would have been patient and not overwhelmed our state with your giant green leaf signs you'd have had your MJ dispensed at Walmart by now. Wake up!

The bar and liquor stores look like regular "stores." The medicinal MJ dispensaries look like cheap obscene derelict false fronts with dirty haired stoners stumbling around in front of them. Next question?

I don't want to put a damper on anyone doing something that doesn't hurt other humans, but I can't abide those stupid looking dispensaries with the potheads hanging out in front every morning. I don't care if you smoke your weed but I say get it by mail order, a proper pharmacy like where I get my Nasonex, or grow it in your backyard. Get your dispensaries out of my town. I don't want my children seeing them. I hope you have a good day.

Sorry, potheads, but I don't want your ridiculous looking dispensaries in my Rocky Mountain High state. I want legitimate medicinal MJ dispensed by a pharmacy, or grow it yourself. I'm all for freedom to do what won't hurt other humans but I just can't abide these garish dispensaries with obvious potheads hanging around before they open. I say mail order or pharmacy dispensing or grow your own. If that's not possible then I'm sorry, but I do not want these dispensaries in my state and in my children's peripheral vision.
