china is one big giant monopoly of cheap goods, cheap labor, which
italian labor can not be expected to compete against. therefore cuts in
italy have to be made. italy can compete better, if it Bans all Chinese
products out of italy.

$17 billion buyback gets you a possible 12% improvement in stock price,
which can be wiped out, on one missed earnings report, whereas that same
17 bil, could have bought a house/ whatever, for each of it's
employees, which to me, seems is more of a lasting improvement to the
economy.
imo, there's something wrong with these buybacks, but i can't quite figure out what it is.

Hershey's used to do this...
HD 17 bil buy back, today, enough to buy 17,000 homes, and pay
maintenance costs for the life of the home...they could have given
long time employees this bonus. nope----instead, they reward wallstreet,
shareholders, which at best is a temporary fix, stock prices do not keep moving up, ALWAYS, whereas, the housing is a permanent fix.

chinese want to be paid more than 1$ a day for their work.
this is what they mean by italy must be competitive. see where the
western economies are going.
we are not raising china, they are lowering
everybody.

got one account, funny thing, it didn't do that much for 9 month's, then past 3 month's, it doubled.... caught a lot of calls that went up 100% to 200%. have a watchlist designed for those gains,
RGLD made the list today.

a lot depends on your account size. under 25k, it's hard to beat the commission contango, w/ $10 roundtrip trades, and it affects your position sizing psychology.
on subscription sites that charge $59 a month, it requires an account size of $100,000, to beat the subscription price psychology.
this is why i only charge $7 a month, my people can have accounts as little as $3,000! not recommended, 10k is the minimum, even then positions can take 5 to 7% of the account, that is much higher than the 1 to 3% recommended!
